When deploying my maven application to heroku, I get the error mesage:
app[web.1]: Error: Could not find or load main class MainView
My procfile path matches the classpath in my manifest (procfile below), so I am unsure why it can't find the class.
web: java -cp target/classes/com/vaadin/app MainView
I am deploying the app with 'git push heroku master', the build succeeds on heroku but gives the above error after building.
Here is my pom.xml

Trying to build spring-cloud-gcp from https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/spring-cloud-gcp
Many failed compile/install attempts due to failed tests (unit and checkstyle) - decided to just disable and/or not fail due to tests - great, that worked, entire build (all sub projects) compiled
Wanted to deploy the spring-cloud-gcp-data-firestore-sample (pom is below) to Cloud run, so changed the parent reference in the pom (as suggested/documented in the pom).
Now can't compile/install spring-cloud-gcp-data-firestore-sample and get this error "**Non-resolvable import POM: com.google.cloud:spring-cloud-gcp-dependencies:pom:2.3.12.RELEASE was not found in https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2**"
I've tried:
Adding additional spring maven repos to the pom (see pom below) - no luck, and based on the error message maven doesn't even seem to be checking the added repo's
referencing/using different versions of the spring-boot-starter-parent - no luck, nothing changed in the error
mvn -U clean compile - no luck
Anyone got any ideas? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

You are inheriting version for com.google.cloud:spring-cloud-gcp-dependencies from project.version, which is 2.3.12.RELEASE in your case.
<dependency>
<groupId>com.google.cloud</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-cloud-gcp-dependencies</artifactId>

When in fact, you want to specify a valid version as listed in maven repository.
I've looked at this past thread but none of the answers yielded any luck: Why can't I resolve the dependencies for GeoTools maven quickstart?.
I have these errors:

Are the links I am using outdated? I have tried using different links for repositories as suggested in the thread I linked above, but none of them seemed to work. Any help would be appreciated.
Please check and let me know if I was making some mistake in defining things in pom
tried various dependencies for each same thing is happening I am working on an existing project so haven't changed pom much please guide me so I can add dependency and work on them

Hope somebody knows what to do, because I found nothing on the internet...
You are using vaadin 7 but version 2.0.0 of googlemaps addon is targeted to vaadin 8.
Try using version 1.3.4 of googlemaps addon
I'm trying to create a war file, and the push that to my tomcat8 webserver.
The problem is, that tomcat throws the following error while trying to access the webapp:
java.io.FileNotFoundException: /var/lib/tomcat8/webapps/tdc-stress-test-2.0-Web.war!/WEB-INF/classes (No such file or directory)
then after comes:
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: org.hibernate.hql.internal.ast.QuerySyntaxException: Basedevice is not mapped [Select t from Basedevice t]
The database is located on the server on which I have pushed the war-file. The persistence.xml is configured to use the database on the server.
This works fine if I run it by jetty::run local, but not when I push it to the server.
What is going on?
The plugin for creating the war:
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-war-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.6</version>
<configuration>
<failOnMissingWebXml>false</failOnMissingWebXml>
<!-- Exclude an unnecessary file generated by the GWT compiler. -->
<packagingExcludes>WEB-INF/classes/VAADIN/widgetsets/WEB-INF/**</packagingExcludes>
</configuration>
</plugin>
