I have a construct where I have a for loop nested inside of a while loop in Java. Is there a way to call a break statement such that it exits both the for loop and the while loop?

You can use a 'labeled' break for this.

You can do it in 3 ways:
You can have while and for loops inside method, and then just call return
You can break for-loop and set some flag which will cause exit in while-loop
Use label (example below)

In my opinion 1st and 2nd solution is elegant. Some programmers don't like labels.

Labelled Breaks
For example:

You should able to use a label for the outer loop (while in this case)

Technically the correct answer is to label the outer loop. In practice if you want to exit at any point inside an inner loop then you would be better off externalizing the code into a method (a static method if needs be) and then call it.
That would pay off for readability.

Using 'break' keyword alone is not the appropriate way when you need to exit from more than one loops.

No matter with how many loops your statement is surrounded with.
You can use 'break' with a label!

Here, in this case complete nested loops should be exit if condition is True . But if we use exitloops only to the upper loop

Java does not have a goto feature like there is in C++. But still, goto is a reserved keyword in Java. They might implement it in the future. For your question, the answer is that there is something called label in Java to which you can apply a continue and break statement. Find the code below:

Here, in this case complete nested loops should be exit if condition is True . But if we use exitloops only to the upper loop

Then inner loop will continues, because there is no extra flag that notify this inner loop to exit.
Example : if i = 3 and j=2 then condition is false. But in next iteration of inner loop j=3 then condition (i*j) become 9 which is true but inner loop will be continue till j become 5.
So, it must use exitloops to the inner loops too.

Java does not have a goto feature like there is in C++. But still, goto is a reserved keyword in Java. They might implement it in the future. For your question, the answer is that there is something called label in Java to which you can apply a continue and break statement. Find the code below:

I am getting a "unidentified label" error, here is my code:

1st case: you don't declare labels.
2nd case: the label is in the break scope so it's unnecessary
Labels must be placed in a line that makes sense and when the break statement is not enough.
Of course, you can refer to documentation for further info:
An unlabeled break statement terminates the innermost switch, for, while, or do-while statement, but a labeled break terminates an outer statement.

How to use conditional statement to check whether array equal to a row of matrix?

I have an array of int type, I want check that if all elements of this array are equal to the elements of i-th row of m×n matrix. For example:

so if
array[j] = matrix[i][j];
for all j=0,1,2 then

First of all,
if any value is different in a row,
then you want to skip to the next iteration of the outer loop.
You can do that by giving the outer loop a label,
and the continue statement.
Secondly,
as soon as you found a row where all values match,
you can break out of the outer loop.
OUT: for (i = 0; i < m; i++) {
for (j = 0; j < n; j++) {
if (A[j] != A0[i][j]) {
continue OUT;
}
}
seq = i;
break;

By using Arrays.equals you can simplify by quite a lot,
by eliminating the inner loop,
and with it all the label + continue black magic:
for (i = 0; i < m; i++) {
if (Arrays.equals(A, A0[i])) {
seq = i;
break;

You have two forconditions. So when you reach
if(A[j] != A0[i][j]) {
break;
}
You will break the only this for loop, so you will continue the other loop:

right i have an array of 50 random integers and i have to check if any of them are the same,
here is my code so far it only checks ajacent indexs

Sort the array first. Then you can check just the next index. If it's ever the same, break.

I think, if you have to just use if/for functions, you have to make two loops:

You use value 0-10 so you can save your value in boolean array and it that way verify if this is duplicate or not:
