I am using a application in spring , There is an issue related with sending mail . While sending mail there happens an exception
“javax.mail.MessagingException: 501 5.0.0 HELO requires domain address” .
when i researched about this issue ,what we found is, it is something related with machine that is sending the mail.
this is how I set the mail propery first
<bean id="mailSession" class="javax.mail.Session" factory-method="getInstance">
<constructor-arg>
<props>
<prop key="mail.smtp.auth">${mail.smtp.auth}</prop>
<prop key="mail.smtp.socketFactory.port">${mail.port}</prop>
<prop key="mail.smtp.socketFactory.class">${mail.smtp.socketFactory.class}</prop>
<prop key="mail.smtp.socketFactory.fallback">${mail.smtp.socketFactory.fallback}</prop>
</prop>
</props>
</constructor-arg>
<constructor-arg ref="smtpAuthenticator" />
</bean>
<bean id="smtpAuthenticator" class="com.iris.allofactor.commons.mail.SmtpAuthenticator">
<property name="logger"><ref bean="logger"/></property>
<constructor-arg><value>${mail.username}</value></constructor-arg>
<constructor-arg><value>${mail.password}</value></constructor-arg>
</bean>
<bean id="mailSender" class="org.springframework.mail.javamail.JavaMailSenderImpl">
<property name="host"><value>${mail.host}</value></property>
<property name="session" ref="mailSession" />
</bean>
after getting the HELO exception i added another peroprty
<prop key="mail.smtp.localhost">${mail.smtp.localhost}
after ${mail.smtp.socketFactory.fallback}
now there is no exception mail is successfully,but i recipient is not getting the mail.can any one help me to solve this issue
i am also getting a a exception while beans are loading,
the exception is some what like this

i dont think this may be core issue,plese help me to find a solution
I ran with the similar problem below things you should do to resolve problem.
As your machine gets started, it will need to know the mapping of some hostnames to IP addresses before DNS can be referenced. This mapping is kept in the /etc/hosts file. In the absence of a name server, any network program on your system consults this file to determine the IP address that corresponds to a host name.
seems you are implementing mail stuff in application its trying to find local IP mapping first to route the TCP/UDP packate
just do :
vi /etc/hosts
now you can see
27.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
::1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6
modify first line and attach Tomcat2 Tomcat2.localadminTomcat2, 'll look like below
27.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4 Tomcat2 Tomcat2.localadminTomcat2
::1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6
Thats it.

Amey
From the official Oracle/Sun website,
Q: I get "MessagingException: 501 HELO requires domain address" when trying to send a message.
A: The SMTP provider uses the results of InetAddress.getLocalHost().getHostName() in the SMTP HELO command. If that call fails to return any data, no name is sent in the HELO command. Check your JDK and name server configuration to ensure that that call returns the correct data. You may also set the "mail.smtp.localhost" property to the name you want to use for the HELO command.
Source: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/faq-135477.html#helo
From my understanding, this occurs when your email server looks at the name of the java web server returned by the InetAddress.getLocalHost().getHostName() and then rejects it. The hostname could be rejected if the email server can't reverse dns the web server or if the webserver provided a meaningless name (such as localhost). If your webserver is identifying itself as localhost, try adding a JDK property such as props.put("mail.smtp.localhost", "real-hostname.com");
Another potentially helpful link is http://www.coderanch.com/t/271097/java/java/JavaMail-Exception-HELO-requires-domain
The c3po pool is trying to get local address by using InetAddress.getLocalHost().getAddress();. This will generate exception in case of impossibly to resolve local host address. Most probably your machine host address is wrong configured. Please take into account that the /etc/hosts on your Linux server should be correctly configured and correspond to /etc/hostname.
I got the same error message today. It is not able to resolve the "localhost". A simple add to the hosts file, /etc/hosts, with your IP address and the server name should resolve it.
127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4 Tomcat2: Tomcat2
yourIP Tomcat2: Tomcat2 "your hostnamename"

I have Hadoop 3.3.2, Hive 3.1.3, MySql 8.0.29(apt install mysql-server) installed. MySql is running properly with mysql -h 127.0.0.1 -u debian-sys-maint -p command. But unable to run any command in Hive. I'm getting FAILED: HiveException java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to instantiate org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.metadata.SessionHiveMetaStoreClient exception.
Then in SO, I found this question on SO, which says to execute hive --service metastore. But, when I execute this command, I get this error:

I am unable to resolve this error. $HIVE_HOME/conf/hive-site.xml looks like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>
<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="configuration.xsl"?>

I also have mysql-connector-java-5.1.9.jar in $HIVE_HOME/lib. I am not getting what I am missing. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks to suggestions by #ggordon in comments under the question. I followed the steps in this website with some small modifications.
When I executed mysql -u debian-sys-maint -p, I was getting ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (13) error. So, I changed it to use loopback address: mysql -h 127.0.0.1 -u debian-sys-maint -p.
CREATE USER 'hiveuser'#'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'hivepassword' has to be changed to CREATE USER 'hiveuser'#'127.0.0.1' IDENTIFIED BY 'hivepassword', since that is what we are using. (I missed this step in question)
GRANT all on . to hiveuser was not working for me. So, after some googling, I changed it to GRANT all on hive_metastore.* to 'hiveuser'#'127.0.0.1'.
javax.jdo.option.ConnectionURL property in $HIVE_HOME/conf/hive-site.xml was set to jdbc:mysql://localhost/hive_metastore?createDatabaseIfNotExist=true. It has to be changed to jdbc:mysql://127.0.0.1/hive_metastore?createDatabaseIfNotExist=true.
With these changes, I followed steps in the above linked site, and it is working fine now.
Facing the same issue as mentioned here :
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CXF-2171
spring configuration contains
<bean id="testProxy" class="test.TestProxyImpl">
<property name="testEndPoint" ref="testService"/>
</bean>
<bean id="testService" class="test.jaxws.testServiceImpl">
<property name="serviceInterface" value="test.jaxws.testServiceEndPoint"/>
<property name="wsdlDocumentUrl" value="${test.service.URL}"/>
<property name="username" value="${test.username}"/>
<property name="password" value="${test.password}"/>
</bean>
which loads the wsdl from remote webservice, everything works fine here
Issue occurs when in another configuration file , try to create a new cxf webservice. Configuration below:
<import resource="classpath:META-INF/cxf/cxf.xml"/>
<import resource="classpath:META-INF/cxf/cxf-extension-soap.xml" />
<import resource="classpath:META-INF/cxf/cxf-servlet.xml" />
<jaxws:endpoint
id="HelloWorld"
implementor="test.ws.HelloWorldImpl"
address="/hello" />
Now I get error:

Here I want to consume external webservice and also create new web service using apache cxf.
Any suggestions?
Note: it is not a maven project. As everything was working well with first configuration file , changing cxf lib versions is not an option.
Running in tomcat 6 and cxf libs in classpath are :
cxf-2.1.0.jar, cxf-core-3.1.2.jar
I have the following issue.
I have a Weblogic 12.2.1 application server in which my application is installed. The application has a proccess that is executed daily. This process has to create a SOAP Webservice Client and call a Webservice. Multiple calls to the Webservice server are needed in order to complete the proccess. The Webservice Server is an apache tomcat (I don't know the exact version). Both the Client and the Server use apache CXF version 2.7.11. Between the Server and the client there is an apache proxy, so calls from the client to the server are made through the proxy. https is used.
The first operation call is always successful. The second crashes with the following Stacktrace:
2016-05-12 16:32:11,054 WARN : cxf.phase.PhaseInterceptorChain - Interceptor for {http://www.pharmnet_bund.de/services/pnpartnerinformation}PnPartnerinformationService#{http://www.pharmnet_bund.de/services/pnpartnerinformation}fetchPartnerById has thrown exception, unwinding now

So far I have obtained this information:
1. When http is used instead of https it works perfectly.
2. When in the apache proxy server the configuration "KeepAlive off" is set then it also works perfectly.
3. When in the apache proxy server the configuration "KeepAlive on" is set and I instruct the client to not use keep alives (http header keep-alive: close) then it also works perfectly.
4. Recently we updated the weblogic server from version 12.1.2 to 12.2.1. With 12.1.2 it worked fine. With 12.2.1 these problems started.
Anybody has any idea what is going on? Is there a way o make this work with keep alive working? Any additional information that is needed by me please ask. Any help is appreciated.
I am getting following errors while deploying GAE application. What will be the reason for that?

with following explanation:
This request caused a new process to be started for your application, and thus caused your application code to be loaded for the first time. This request may thus take longer and use more CPU than a typical request for your application.
A serious problem was encountered with the process that handled this request, causing it to exit. This is likely to cause a new process to be used for the next request to your application. If you see this message frequently, you may be throwing exceptions during the initialization of your application. (Error code 104)
As it says in the stacktrace:
HardDeadlineExceededError: This request (0000000000000000) started at 2011/11/17 04:12:01.160 UTC and was still executing at 2011/11/17 04:13:01.204 UTC.
Frontend requests to App Engine apps have 60 seconds to complete. If your request takes longer than that, it will be terminated. If you need to do a lot of work, you should do it on the Task Queue.
You need to optimize your application for quick setup. For example:
Uses a lightweight framework
Reduces classes scanning (discovery) at framework setup
Minimizes operations in ServletContextListener#contextInitialized
There is a long way for GAE application optimizations, good luck ;-)
Finally we sorted the issue by removing <prop key="hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto">update</prop> from the hibernate configuration,which was for automatically exporting schema DDL to the database when the SessionFactory is created.
I am currently trying to call a web service with a client built with Apache CXF. Though the service is available in the browser, I cannot connect to it, due to the following error.
Any thoughts regarding the problem ?

Seems like one of two options
You are trying to connect to the wrong uri (server / port / url)
You trying to connect to a service which is blocked by a firewall
Maybee you could give us some more insight in the configuration you are using
With CXF you can override the target url of the WSDL by the following CXF spring configuration
<bean id="service" class="your.pack.age.YourService"
factory-bean="clientFactory" factory-method="create">
</bean>
<bean id="clientFactory" class="org.apache.cxf.jaxws.JaxWsProxyFactoryBean">
<property name="serviceClass" value="your.pack.age.YourService" />
<property name="address" value="${service.url}" />
</bean>
Open the browser settings, for sure you will find web proxy enabled, you need to pass the same settings in your code:
HTTPConduit http = (HTTPConduit) client.getConduit();
http.getClient().setProxyServer("proxy server URL");
http.getClient().setProxyServerPort(port);
