I have a JAX-WS web service deployed to a Weblogic 12c server. I'm using Eclipse for development and I have a Maven project where I created the web service. Until now it is working fine.
Now I want to add a security policy (UsernameToken) to it. As such, I've added the maven dependency for the Metro project:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.glassfish.metro</groupId>
<artifactId>webservices-rt</artifactId>
<version>2.3</version>
</dependency>
But when I try to deploy, I get the following stack trace:
<30/Out/2013 12H32m WET> <Error> <Deployer> <BEA-149265> <Failure occurred in the execution of deployment request with ID "1383136332821" for task "7". Error is: "

Can someone give some thoughts on this?
Weblogic has it's own WS implementation. Better use scope provided to prevent deploy of metro-version:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.glassfish.metro</groupId>
<artifactId>webservices-rt</artifactId>
<version>2.3</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>

Is there any specific reason why this is happening or what and where i should look as i am really clueless as to why change in camel results in spring's class not being found?
And apart from this, all my routes made in java configuration are not working and throw exceptions like consumer not found for endpoint for all the routes that consume message from given endpoint but same seems to work in when writen in xml. Is there any reason for this? I am using camel 2.13.2 and java configuration for routes is done by extending RouteBuilder, also i have other routes that are already written in xml and the xml has been added in contextConfigLocation. Is it somehow related to adding xml in contextConfig?
camel-jms:2.18.1 component uses spring-jms with version 4.3.4.RELEASE. You need to upgrade to spring 4.3.4.RELEASE or migrate camel-jms component to camel-sjms, which does not use spring. You can find all relevant dependencies in camel-parent-2.18.1.pom
If you are using Maven, the best way to keep your dependencies consistent is using BOM:
<dependencyManagement>
<dependnecies>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.camel</groupId>
<artifactId>camel-parent</artifactId>
<version>2.18.1</version>
<type>pom</type>
<scope>import</scope>
</dependency>
</dependnecies>
</dependencyManagement>
and then exclude version for all camel and spring related dependencies, which you are using in application.
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.camel</groupId>
<artifactId>camel-core</artifactId>
</dependency>
...
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-core</artifactId>
</dependency>

And does not matter, do I use camunda enterprise edition or standard.
My pom contains the following dependencies:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-web</artifactId>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.camunda.bpm.springboot</groupId>
<artifactId>camunda-bpm-spring-boot-starter-webapp-ee</artifactId>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-tomcat</artifactId>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
How can I solve this problem?
EDIT
As I understand, the whole problem can be in the jersey, which is inside the dependency camunda.
I edit my weblogic.xml and this is how he came out:

I just started a new ActiveWeb/ActiveJDBC project based on the activeweb-simple example. When I build and run it with Jetty as described in the ReadMe everything works fine but I can't get it to work with TomEE plus (7.0.2/1.7.5) and I would like to ask for help.
I tried several things out so I will split this in three parts.
1) Not running on Jetty, JSR-356 support unavailable
When building and deploying the war an error occurs no matter if I copy the war-file to the webapps-folder or if I use the tomee-maven-plugin:
FATAL: Error during ServletContainerInitializer processing
javax.servlet.ServletException: Not running on Jetty, JSR-356 support unavailable
at org.eclipse.jetty.websocket.jsr356.server.deploy.WebSocketServerContainerInitializer.onStartup(WebSocketServerContainerInitializer.java:183)
at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext.startInternal(StandardContext.java:5622)
at org.apache.catalina.util.LifecycleBase.start(LifecycleBase.java:145)

at org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.addChild(ContainerBase.java:985)
at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardHost.addChild(StandardHost.java:652)
at org.apache.catalina.startup.HostConfig.deployWAR(HostConfig.java:1127)
at org.apache.catalina.startup.HostConfig$DeployWar.run(HostConfig.java:2020)

at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:624)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:748)
The tomee-maven-plugin is defined as follows:
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.openejb.maven</groupId>
<artifactId>tomee-maven-plugin</artifactId>
<version>1.7.5</version>
<configuration>
<tomeeClassifier>plus</tomeeClassifier>
<systemVariables>
<activejdbc.log />
<active_reload>true</active_reload>
<activeweb.log.request>true</activeweb.log.request>
</systemVariables>
</configuration>
</plugin>
Searching for the error itself haven't lead me to a solution.
2) "Fixed" above error, still no server
I commented out all of the Jetty-related code and dependencies and redeployed afterwards. This time no error occurs but unfortunately there was no server available under localhost either.
3) Fatal error unexpected element
After this I added the 'tomcat-websocket' dependency as replacement for the 'javax-websocket-server-impl' dependency
<!-- <dependency>
<groupId>org.eclipse.jetty.websocket</groupId>
<artifactId>javax-websocket-server-impl</artifactId>
<version>9.4.1.v20170120</version>
</dependency>-->
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.tomcat</groupId>
<artifactId>tomcat-websocket</artifactId>
<version>9.0.10</version>
</dependency>
which lead to the error below:

All above errors happen for version 2.0 and 2.1-SNAPSHOT of ActiveWeb/ActiveJDBC.
So, is there a solution to get ActiveWeb to work with TomEE plus?
I'm interested in enabling HTTP response compression for my Java 8 / spring-boot 1.3.2 / Maven 3.3 based application.
Following the spring-boot reference documentation from http://docs.spring.io/spring-boot/docs/1.3.x/reference/htmlsingle/#how-to-enable-http-response-compression, I have added the following change to my application.properties:
server.compression.enabled=true
While the application started successfully before the above addition, with it the application fails to start with the following error when using the Maven command below:
mvn clean spring-boot:run
...

My next step, per the reference documentation section 64.18.2, was to add the following dependency to the pom.xml:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.eclipse.jetty</groupId>
<artifactId>jetty-servlets</artifactId>
<version>9.3.7.v20160115</version>
</dependency>
Using mvn:dependency:tree I can verify that jetty-servlets is included in the application as a compile time scoped dependency. Yet, the application fails to start with the same error output as above.
Can anyone please point out what I am missing and/or what do I need to do to get response compression to work successfully when launching the application from a Maven command line?
You need following maven dependancy:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.eclipse.jetty</groupId>
<artifactId>jetty-server</artifactId>
<version>9.3.7.v20160115</version>
</dependency>
Andy Wilkinson was correct and provided the needed information I was missing.
For the benefit of others, I was mixing Spring Boot 1.3 with the 9.3.x flavors of spring-jetty. Once I used the latest of spring-jetty 9.2.x -- I used 9.2.14.v20151106 -- my application started as normal.
To summarize, here the changes I made:
application.properties:
server.compression.enabled=true
pom.xml:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.eclipse.jetty</groupId>
<artifactId>jetty-servlets</artifactId>
<version>9.2.14.v20151106</version>
</dependency>

I ran into this issue and discovered that I had included two (2) Weblogic 10 files in my WAR file which cause this issue; weblogic-10.3.6.jar and wlfullclient-10.3.6.jar.
Once I removed the, it started up fine.
