Do you have this bundle installed in your container (Felix) as well?
<dependency>
<groupId>org.hibernate</groupId>
<artifactId>hibernate</artifactId>
<version>3.2.6.ga</version>
</dependency>
If not install it and then see what happens when you start your bundle.

For missing requirement [Bundle-number] osgi.wiring.package,
I added it as export-package in pom.xml, as mentioned below:
<Export-Package>
package for which error is thrown
</Export-Package>
and it worked.
So if it throws the above error even after declaring it as dependency, export-package may help

Based on your information, it need your check on your oracle jdbc connection first, especially for below part:
<!-- declare datasource -->
<bean id="dataSource"
class="org.springframework.jdbc.datasource.DriverManagerDataSource">
<property name="driverClassName" value="oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver" />
<property name="url" value="jdbc:oracle:thin:#localhost:1521:orcl21"/>
<property name="username" value="c##gss_pos" />
<property name="password" value="sys" />
</bean>
You need ensure you can connect to your Oracle DB via the localhost:1521:orcl21 with proper user and password.
Can you also use the latest JDBC driver? You are using 11.2.0.4. Try using 21.5.0.0 or 19.14.0.0. Check out OTN page.

In my project I have three model files- User, Appointment and Notification. There are three repository interfaces each implements CRUDRepository. Service and Controller class are also present. While executing the project i am getting two errors:

Many answers on stackoverflow suggested that error is due to invalid version of spring-jpa and spring data. I tried to change the version of spring, but did not help. Which version of spring and spring-jpa should I use? Do I need to add some other dependency?

Spring version - 4.3.8.RELEASE and spring data jpa version - 1.0.2.RELEASE combination worked for me.
If it is version issue then may be you can try this combination.
You have version mismatch problem with BeanUtils.findPropertyForMethod
The below dependency is causing the version problem which is referring to findPropertyForMethod which takes one parameter.
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.data</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-data-jpa</artifactId>
<version>1.6.4.RELEASE</version>
</dependency>
Consider changing the version to 2.0.3.RELEASE which would resolve the issue.

SpringXD Error when deploying Stream: StringDeserializer class could not be found

I'm configuring my custom kafka source and I'm getting an error related to the value.deserializer kafka property.
This is the config that I have:
<!--Consumer -->
<bean id="container1"
class="org.springframework.kafka.listener.KafkaMessageListenerContainer">
<constructor-arg>
<bean class="org.springframework.kafka.core.DefaultKafkaConsumerFactory">
<constructor-arg>
<map>
<entry key="bootstrap.servers" value="localhost:9092" />
<entry key="enable.auto.commit" value="false" />
<entry key="auto.commit.interval.ms" value="100" />
<entry key="session.timeout.ms" value="15000" />
<entry key="group.id" value="bridge-stream-testing" />
<entry key="key.deserializer" value="org.apache.kafka.common.serialization.IntegerDeserializer" />
<entry key="value.deserializer" value="org.apache.kafka.common.serialization.StringDeserializer" />
</map>
</constructor-arg>
</bean>
</constructor-arg>
I see org.apache.kafka.common.serialization.StringDeserializer class indeed (I can click the class name and it takes me to the jar file.
Just in case this is the content in my pom file:
<project xmlns="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://maven.apache.org/POM/4.0.0 http://maven.apache.org/xsd/maven-4.0.0.xsd">

</project>
These are the logs that I'm getting: https://gist.github.com/columb1a/2833f1ac751436df1caa730ce1a0eb37
Try to place kafka-clients jar into the shared /lib instead of module classpath. I just guess, but looks like that class is tried to be load by the Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader(); instead of module-specific.
I resolved my problem as follows: After having replaced the kafka-clients PLUS having added provided scope to the kafka-clients dependency in my pom file, my consumer is working properly (so far).

Issue running runnable Jar packaged using Maven plugin with Spring dependencies

I have created a runnable jar using maven assembly plugin:
<build>
<plugins>
<plugin>
<artifactId>maven-assembly-plugin</artifactId>
<configuration>
<archive>
<manifest>
<mainClass>com.loaders.FundLoader</mainClass>
</manifest>
</archive>
<descriptorRefs>
<descriptorRef>jar-with-dependencies</descriptorRef>
</descriptorRefs>
</configuration>
</plugin>
</plugins>
</build>
I have some Spring dependencies packaged into the jar.
When I run the program using intellIj the program runs perfectly fine.
However when I run the program from the command line using: java -jar myjar.jar
I got the following exception:
Exception in thread "main" org.springframework.beans.factory.xml.XmlBeanDefiniti
onStoreException: Line 6 in XML document from class path resource [spring/loader-context.xml] is invalid; nested exception is org.xml.sax.SAXParseExceptio

Attached my config file: loader-context.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<beans xmlns="http://www.springframework.org/schema/beans" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"

Could someone please help me out ?
Thank you
Spring applications cannot be simly packaged as a fat JAR with the maven-assembly-plugin, for each Spring module JAR has its schemas located in a file that is always at the same location (META-INF/spring.schemas).
When you flatten all your dependencies in one final JAR, you will obviously only has one of these spring.schemas files in your resulting JAR, hence your issue.
I would suggest to either use Spring Boot for developing your application, as it includes a plugin that deals nicely with Spring JARs.
Or you can also use onejar-maven-plugin, which also packages the fat JAR in a specific way that avoids having this issue.
Other solutions also exists, such as the maven-shade-plugin and its AppendingTransformer
You can even provide merged versions of the problematic files by yourself, as project resources, and then excluding the originals from being assembled.
