java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError after installing to another tomcat server 8.5.35

Before saying this is a duplicate, i've seen most of the related problems to this but none worked for me :( I have a web app which is installed perfectly on our server, when i installed it on another backup web server (Centos, apache 8.5.35, jdk 1.8) This exception error happens and it does not upload the web app :( this server contains 3 web apps, all spring projects, 2 are working but one. below is the error:

I'm sure there are no dependencies missing when i imported this as it was from a tar.gz and i tried a lot, reinstalling java jdk and tomcat, reimporting the webapps. I hope someone can help.

I found the answer!! It turns out i was not missing any dependency, i read on an article that using hibernate 4.0.2 is better than 5.0.2 for some reason. And i found out from my classes lib that there were 2 hibernate validators ' hibernate-validator-5.0.1.Final.jar' and 'hibernate-validator-4.0.2.GA.jar' so i removed the 5.0.1 version. I also checked the logs from catalina and the working servers are running 4.0.1 while the server that shows this error are running 5.0.1 thats why i removed it from the classpath.

ORA-01017 Invalid Username/Password when migrating from TOMCAT to IBM Websphere

We are migrating a war file from TOMCAT to IBM Websphere 8.5.5 application server. It is working fine on TOMCAT, but throwing "invalid username/password logon denied" error in IBM WAS. I have correct datasource configured in web.xml and persistence.xml. I also checked with our server admin and he confirmed that the datasource is correct and able to test successfully using the same. Not sure if I need to add/change any configs here for IBM WAAS 8.5.5. Please advise.

If you have container managed authentication set up for the data source (or in the resource reference bindings) but don't have component managed authentication defined for the data source, that could lead to this problem occurring, because you would be able to look up the data source without a resource reference which wouldn't use container managed authentication. To use container managed authentication, you need to use the resource reference when looking up the data source.
Have you tried specifying the resource reference name for the data source in the persistent unit. For example,

Also, you should confirm that your data source either has a default container managed authentication alias configured, or it specifies a container managed authentication alias in the resource reference bindings, and that the user/password are correct.

If you're not specifying the property in your persistence.xml and letting OpenJPA try to auto-detect it, try specifying the property in your persistence.xml and assign it the appropriate value for the database vendor to which you're connecting.

Jod Converter web application

I have a java application with jodConverter. I can convert all types of extensions to PDF and it works good but when I put it as web application a timeout occurs when converting big docs. The same computer has the web application and the normal application.
Normal application, converts all docs.
Web application, doesn't convert big docs eventually a timeout occurs.
I use websphere portal 7 as server.
Anyone have some idea for this issue?
Edit: I tried to install the wildfly and the application works good, so the problem maybe is in websphere server.

The reason was, I have seted a wrong connection URL for DriverManagerConnectionSource. There was no any DB server with that URL. Unfortunately the logback is confusing us with a wrong error message

The problem was that I missed logback-examples-1.0.0.jar

i had a similar error pop up, and it was simply a configuration error.... The "driverClass" was wrong in my xml config file.... I didn't notice right off because I took it from an existing project where I assumed it worked...
So long story short, make sure you're driverClass is:
com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
if you're trying to connect to mysql!

The root cause is right at the bottom of your log snippet:
