So far I have updated to Android 1.0 and some of my issues where fixed but the Gradle issue is driving me nuts. I have searched everywhere and none of the solutions work for me I use Windows 8.1
When ever I try to run my program:
Pops up
Failed to complete Gradle execution. Cause:
However the virtual Android still runs and the project is not there and this pops up:

so I have never had this happen before, I am trying to load a gradle project in IntelliJ idea, but I keep getting this following error.
Cannot use connection to Gradle distribution 'https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-3.0-bin.zip' as it has been stopped.
Here is the logs of the gradle process
Download https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-3.0-bin.zip finished, took 14 s 732 ms (69.3 MB)
7:49:01 AM: Execution finished 'wrapper'.
Could not find anything on google that was useful.
When it says "Cannot use connection to Gradle distribution 'xxxx' as it has been stopped" I simply closed the project, quit android studio, and then relaunched Android Studio and opened the project and it worked, i.e., Gradle was not stopped and I could continue.
I always get these errors while building my Cordova project and i tried updating everything in SDK manager and acceppting all licenses but i still get these error's. how can I fix this?

as the outpus sais, the Build Tools revision 31.0.0 is apparently corrupted. All you need to do is:
Open Android Studio
Go to Tools, SDK Manager
On SDK Tools, click on Show Package details
On Android SDK Build-Tools 31, uncheck the version 31.0.0 and check the 30.0.3
Click on Apply, and it'll install the version.
It should look something like this:
First, delete every related folders and files.
Then, reinstall everything
in the root folder disk:
inside the Users\Usuario\appData\Roaming folder
inside the Users\Usuario\.android folder
inside the Users\Usuario\appData\Android folder , delete all its content
inside the program files, delete the folder before uninstalling android studio (Using Control Panel or Config->Apps)
Delete the "path" environment variable
Finally, reinstall android studio.
This error made me lose 4 hours, and the best thing I did was completely delete everything. Cause of this error is because, you have two build-tools registered.
You can use. $> ns setup. to set up a new environment

I found the answer to the error I got (exactly the same as yours). It probably happened when I updated Android Studio... Here's what I did and it worked:
Open any project, and do "FILE" > "PROJECT STRUCTURE..." (or the shortcut Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S). Go to the project section (at the very top) of the window that just appeared and choose the latest version of Android Gradle Puglin (= Android Studio version) and Gradle (now it's 3.6.2 for Android Studio and 6.3 for Gradle). Once done: "APPLY" & "OK".
Second thing to do: "VIEW" > "TOOL WINDOWS" > "GRADLE". With the window that just opened, click on "TOGGLE OFFLINE MODE", the penultimate icon at the top of the window (it must not be highlighted anymore), and keep this window for a little while. Now build your project/create the apk file to run Gradle and download the necessary, since you have changed version (Connect your pc to the internet!).
Normally (at least for me), Android Studio will download what you need and you'll just have to wait a bit. As soon as the build is finished, go back to the Gradle window and reactivate "TOGGLE OFFLINE MODE" (it must be highlighted). Rebuild your project to make sure it works (I don't know if this step is necessary, but better too much than too little!), and you're done! No more errors and no more need to connect to the Internet!
These resources need to be installed and it can't be synced offline so you need to connect to internet and then sync build.gradle again in order to download these resources.
Hope this will help you.
The error message happened to me after I changed file names and file types.
I tried:
Build> Clear Build, and
Build > Rebuild
Both didn't work.
Although "Sync Project with Gradle Files" removed the error.
Note: I'm using ANdroid Studio Electric Eel | 2022.1.1
Also, it worked when I realised I have removed tools:.MainActivity on my constraint xml.
I have updated to the latest Android SDK and set JAVA_HOME in .bash_profile using
export JAVA_HOME=$(/usr/libexec/java_home), and I'm getting the following error:
Error Gradle:
FAILURE: Could not determine which tasks to execute.
* What went wrong:
Task 'assembleDebug' not found in project ':CrystalBall'.
* Try:
Run gradle tasks to get a list of available tasks.
Error: Could not execute build using Gradle distribution

I've attached a screenshot:
What should I do?
The second error in your screenshot seems more important to me. You have to make sure, that the Android Studio is able to download and execute the gradle binary. If you are using a proxy you have to configure it in the Android Studio.
To check the gradle tasks, go to your project folder on the command line and type "gradlew tasks"
You can also configure a proxy for gradle. Just create a gradle.properties file in (your project folder) with these properties:
systemProp.http.proxyHost=www.example.org
systemProp.http.proxyPort=8080
systemProp.http.proxyUser=userid
systemProp.http.proxyPassword=password
systemProp.http.nonProxyHosts=*.nonproxy.com|localhost
I don't believe this is the issue the poster had, but for the benefit of others I'll add what I found as I was helping someone on Windows XP who was getting the same error.
It appears the issue in his case was that the path to the Android Studio project had spaces in it (since Windows XP uses the Documents and Settings directory). I had him generate a new project into a directory without spaces in it and it built and ran without problems. Might have actually been something else, but as usual it is best to avoid spaces in paths.
