Jar file run failed of a Spring boot application

I have these Spring boot applications using a microservice architecture, and I needed to dockerize them, so I generated a Jar file for each, all of them are working just fine when I run them from IntelliJ, but the jar file is always showing an error when I try to run it, I added
false
as I saw in a post earlier talking about the same error, but still the same error, knowing I tried generating the jar file using
mvn clean package AND
mvn clean install

and the error is something like ...35 common frames omitted

Maven build error: Fatal error compiling: invalid flag: -parameters

I have a SpringBoot application which build and runs perfectly in intelliJ (i.e. if from within the IntelliJ gui I do a maven clean and install).
Howevwer, if I try run mvn clean install from the cmd line, I get the following error:
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-compiler-plugin:3.8.1:compile (default-compile) on project nexct-approval-service: Fatal error compiling: invalid flag: -parameters -> [Help 1]
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: invalid flag: -parameters
Any ideas on how to build the application from the cmd line?
I have my JAVA_HOME set to 1.7, because there are other apps I run on 1.7. This app runs on Java 14, so I have that set in my pom.

Failure to find org.springframework.cloud:spring-cloud-dependencies:pom

I have been trying to set up a spring boot project but am getting an error. I researched and tried various options but no luck so far. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to specify ${spring-cloud.version}. Add properties section into your pom:

Ofc, instead of "Greenvich.RELEASE" you can use any other version of spring-cloud-dependencies

There is also a new version for that module, Greenwich.RELEASE.

I fixed this issue in Intellij Idea by doing followings steps:
Click on the maven tab and type the following command:
mvn clean install
After this you will get errors about SpringFramework. You can fix it by doing:
Right click on project
go to maven in the contextual menu
And click on "reload project"

Neo4j-spatial can't import OSM

I'm new to neo4j and trying to import an .osm data to my embeddedDatabase but it doesn't work. I searched for some example code and finally I ended up with this code which I got by trying to understand the TestOSMImport.java

The code is starting the reIndex method and then comes up with this error

You have to use a version of neo4-spatial that's built for the version of Neo4j you are using. Try changing
<version>0.12-neo4j-2.0.0-SNAPSHOT</version>
to
<version>0.11-neo4j-1.9</version>
