Can anyone please tel me why i m getting this exception?
I'm trying to get my head around Java and how it works with JDBC so I've set up a SQL 2012 Express server on my domain controller.
I've successfully connected to it via a domain computer using another SQL 2012 instance but when using Java to pull a simply query down I get a 'No suitable driver found' error, even though I'm using and have imported the SQL4 .JAR extension.
Heres my code:
Is there a reason I'm getting this error?

You have to load driver before connecting using Class.forName("com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver"); as first instruction.
Also connection string is wrong (is like PostgreSQL one): here how to build corrected connection string.
Should looks like
jdbc:sqlserver://brk:1433;databaseName=Accounts_Table;

I understand that the applet won't start. I've done some excessive searching to find the answer, however, I have found none. I do not use a GameState, but use a BasicGame. Most tutorials I've read say to just write it like a normal application. So I'm confused as to how to get this to work properly. It doesn't seem like I need to make any new changes, but that I can't figure out what exactly I need to do.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
It seems as if the error happened as a naming issue.
I am having some trouble running my signed web applet,
it runs fine within Eclipse, but as soon as I upload to the webpage, I get this error log:

I believe this is a problem with breaking out of the sandbox, and communicating with the computer.
Can using AccessController.doPrivileged solve the problem? What are my options other than modifying the policy file?
It turns out, the problem I had, was that my referenced Jar files (outside the main Jar) was not signed, and after signing them the problem went away.
At some point in my program, the following error is being generated. Any idea what this is?

I had similar intermittent NPEs pop up during initialization when setting a slider to use a custom ui that extended BasicSliderUI. I fixed them by wrapping it in an invokeLater:
SwingUtilities.invokeLater(new Runnable(){
#Override public void run() {
slider.setUI(new CustomSliderUI(slider));
}
});
