exception thrown when running jar on Heroku - java

I followed this documentation Using the Heroku Deploy CLI plugin to run my simple jar but when I execute this command :
jar main.jar --app myapp
This exception is thrown :
Exception in thread "main" org.apache.http.client.HttpResponseException: Not Found

at com.heroku.sdk.deploy.DeployJar.deploy(DeployJar.java:27)
at com.heroku.sdk.deploy.DeployJar.main(DeployJar.java:105)
I've googled this exception but didn't found anything useful.
Note that this jar is running correctly in my computer without any exceptions.

This error usually means the app you are trying to deploy to does not exist (or you may not have access to it).
Double check that the app name is correct, and use the correct app name with the -a option in the command if necessary.

When trying to build "./gradlew build" but it says build failed

I want to install COM port to connect my "Extended" controller (stabilization solution) but the software when plugged in, doesn't show any COM 3 ports. Found this solution https://github.com/NeuronRobotics/nrjavaserial
My steps: using the command git clone, after it is downloaded, I changed the directory to the folder it created.
$ cd nrjavaserial
After that, I tried to use this command.
$./gradlew build But it failed. Leaving this messagge in terminal :
What went wrong:
Could not initialize class org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.InvokerHelper
Exception java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class org.codehaus.groovy.reflection.ReflectionCache [in thread "Daemon worker"]
Any ideas? My guess is that java is not installed correctly or something is missing. Or support for this is not there.. Thank you in advance.

Java Exception when opening iReport

Here is the error I'm getting. Tried to open other version of ireport and didn't encountered any errors.

I am using java 7 on my ireport.conf, also I am using Ubuntu
jdkhome="/usr/jdk1.7.0_55.for.tmpfs/"
The application is working fine this morning and this just happens,
I've tried search for solutions but the only solutions I found on the internet is to check whether I am using java 7 which I am.
I guess the port has something to do with this but I'm not sure where to start.
Problem is with the lock file.
Try to find it using this command:
find /home/your_user_name -name lock
It will be located in path like /home/your_user_name/.ireport/4.5.1/lock
Delete this file and try to start iReport again.

deployment of tomcat gives fail to run error

When I try to run Tomcat through Netbeans I get:
Deployment error: Starting of Tomcat failed,
/Users/Dropbox/apache-tomcat-8.0.23/bin/catalina.sh and related
scripts are executable.
the line the error directs me to is :
< nbdeploy clientUrlPart="${client.urlPart}" debugmode="false"
forceRedeploy="${forceRedeploy}"/>
when i run this code with it broken up the error is on forceRedeploy="${forceRedeploy}"
Catalina.sh is in that file location. I do not know how to check if it is executable. I was working earlier, then it stopped working, but I'm not sure when or what i changed.
Your server is not getting deployed and localhost isn't running. So,try to attach the server again to the application while running the project. Quite the same problem occurred to me while I was working with Tomcat in Eclipse.
Hope you find your answer here.

Error while starting GoldFish server: Ubuntu 13.10

I consulted here and here but could not get my problem solved.
When I type this on terminal /opt/glassfish4/glassfish/bin/asadmin start, I get the following result:

Unable to get remote commands.

Similarly, when I type this /opt/glassfish4/glassfish/bin/asadmin --port 5656 start-domain, I get

I sense there is something problem in path /opt/glassfish4/glassfish/bin/asadmin. I am working on my first JSF web application and cannot run glassfish server. I am using Netbeans and ubuntu 13.10.
Can anyone show me the way?
Thank you!
The error messages
java.io.IOException: Couldn't get lock for

and
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.RuntimeException: the domain
directory is not writable.
indicate that the user account you use to start the server doesn't have write permissions in your Glassfish domain folder.
To solve the problem either change the permissions or start the asadmin command with a user who has sufficient permissions.
If this doesn't solve the problem, there may be another process which has a lock on your server.log file, but I guess you would have noticed that. To make sure you can run
lsof /opt/glassfish4/glassfish/domains/domain1/logs/server.log
to see if any process is using the file.
