How to generate client code using with swagger-codegen-plugin (maven)? - java

I need to generate a server stub code in eclipse using with swagger-codegen-plugin (for maven) . can you please help how to do it ? and what configuration needed for that( in pom.xml).

First mvn compile fails to find generated sources

I use an annotation processor that creates sources in target/generated-sources/annotations/
When these generated sources don't exist I get an error if I run mvn compile
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-compiler-plugin:3.10.1:compile (default-compile) on project project-name: Compilation failure
[ERROR] /path/src/main/java/org/acme/dao/SomeClass.java:[39,19] cannot find symbol
It fails, but it creates the sources, so if I run mvn compile again it works.
Is there a plugin/configuration that I can add to pom.xml so it works the first time, please?

I basically split the compiler execution and ignore the failure of the first compilation (compilation should not happen anyway).

It's not exactly the solution that I wanted, but it does the job.
I had to this way because javac is not respecting -proc:only
But maybe I'm missing something. Let's hope someone has a better answer. =)
the "modern" way to plug annotation processors in ~recent (>5 years old) jdk and maven is following:

Problem importing Java classes in groovy files Java 11

I've been trying to move an application to Java 11. This applications has multiple modules that use a common pom. After refactoring the main pom.xml to Java 11 I haven't been able to import Java classes correctly from Groovy classes and I keep getting this error from mvn clean compile "Error occurred while calling a method on a Groovy class from classpath.: InvocationTargetException: startup failed:". What am I doing wrong?

Scala Eclipse IDE compiler giving errors until "clean" is run

I am writing a mixed Java/Scala project and my Eclipse compiler is giving errors for all of the Scala code. It seems to try to compile it as Java instead of Scala. However, when I run a clean, all of the errors go away. Also, building this using maven works completely fine.
I am building this project in Maven. Originally this project was only Java, so I added the necessary plugins/dependencies into my pom.xml.
Any idea why Eclipse is treating my Scala files as Java?

How to add JaCoCo in maven

I have written a unit test case using JUnit now I want to add JaCoCo in my build tool that is moving 3.2.1.I am new to Maven. While adding it, I have to doubt that I want to add it in the dependency or plugin ? There are both are available,such that is following

That should generate you coverage reports in target/site/jacoco when you build your project with i.e. mvn clean install site
Note in my example plugin configuration the COVEREDRATIO limit is very low, you might want to set a higher value like 80 or so. The idea is to let a build fail if coverage is below that limit.

i am using maven 2 and eclipse helios, and after installing the plugin M2E 1.0 from here:

i am getting the following error in eclipse:
