**Non-resolvable import POM: org.springframework.cloud:spring-cloud-dependencies:pom:${spring-cloud.version} was not found in https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2 during a previous attempt.
Another error is

I tried different approaches such as changing this line to

Where the parent won't stop showing an error. I'm doing a microservice with eureka server and clients.
This is a client. Any guesses?
I've tried adding the javax dependencies which are needed in java 11, and adding the springcloud version, the project has only a pair of models.
I have the following pom.xml:
<modelVersion>4.0.0</modelVersion>
<parent>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-parent</artifactId>
<version>2.2.0.M2</version>

<!-- For Eureka Client-->

I keep getting error about missing version.
'dependencies.dependency.version' for
org.springframework.security.oauth:spring-security-oauth2:jar is
missing. # line 34, column 21 [ERROR]
'dependencies.dependency.version' for
org.springframework.cloud:spring-cloud-starter-netflix-eureka-client:jar
is missing. # line 56, column 21
Isn't it that spring parent should provide those versions?
How to provide the right versions and why the spring boot-parrent is not providing one?
I can see you have spring.cloud.version but there is no such dependencyManagement import like below (which will import all versions for child dependencies). Kindly note that <spring-cloud-netflix.version>2.1.1.RELEASE</spring-cloud-netflix.version> is available in this spring-cloud-dependencies pom file.
The spring-boot-starter-parent will not have any dependencies for org.springframework.cloud group.

I am building microservices in my local machine. One client app is based on netflix-ribbon and netflix-eureka. I am getting the below error in logs.
com.netflix.client.ClientException: Load balancer does not have available server for client: currency-exchange-service
at com.netflix.loadbalancer.LoadBalancerContext.getServerFromLoadBalancer(LoadBalancerContext.java:483) ~[ribbon-loadbalancer-2.3.0.jar:2.3.0]

To resolve this I had to remove the below dependency, after which the service was working fine.

I want to register this (consider service A) as service in Eureka as well as have load balancing in the service A service which will call one instance (service B) out of 3 instances running.
I'm trying to spin up a mock HTTP server for my testing, but I cannot get Wiremock to work.
On the mvnrepository.com website, it is suggested as such:
<!-- https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/com.github.tomakehurst/wiremock -->
<dependency>
<groupId>com.github.tomakehurst</groupId>
<artifactId>wiremock</artifactId>
<version>2.9.0</version>
<type>pom</type>
<scope>test</scope>
</dependency>
This however, does not make it available to my test class when trying to import it as such:
import static com.github.tomakehurst.wiremock.client.WireMock.*;
If I remove the <type>pom</type> tag, I can import it but it then fails at runtime because it does not pull in all of the transitive dependencies it needs (such as the Apache Httpclient).
I am not really sure what <type>pom</type> does, as it's not really clear from other explanations, so I don't know how to get past this.
