I have an issue when I compile my project using Maven. Below there is the images of the structure of my project. When I decompile it, I see its made it in a wrong way. The .war file, misses all of the jsp contained in pages folder, the js, and the style. When I build the project says it's builde successfull but its not. There is an image of the decompiled project and my pom.xml.
How can I correct this?

I would like to create simple Java SOAP web service that should run on Tomcat 10. I'm using Eclipse and Maven for this purpose. I'm using artifact maven-archetype-webapp for this purpose. After project was created I just removed webapp folder and have created java one instead of it. I suppose there I can put my Java code for web services? But how to tell Eclipse to treat this folder as Java source location? I can managed it like system folders, but not Java packages. What other directory structure changes I should do in order to create Java SOAP server?

I've been trying to find a solution for this for a long time without success.
I have analyzed the dependence tree and seems to have no other lib requiring mysql-connector-java. Besides that, even with scope provided, the jar is being packed on the final war.
My dependency in pom.xml:
<dependency>
<groupId>mysql</groupId>
<artifactId>mysql-connector-java</artifactId>
<version>5.1.45</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
And here my dependency hierarchy:
Without this, my tomcat server keep giving memory leak errors on redeploy and I don't know what to do.
Any ideas?

Could you please help me to solve this problem?
Maven differentiates between resources, and test resources. Maybe you are putting the xml file, which is being marshalled, somewhere underneath the src/main/resources folder?
If thats the case, try copying the xml file to src/test/resources
I am beginner in maven and I have created a maven project, when I execute the project via clicking on as Maven Test it doesn't execute any test cases which is written under the #Test annotation.
But same code when I execute with Testng then its work fine.
Can anyone give some light to resolving it.

By convention, the test classes must also end with "Test". If they don't, you should add
<includes>
<include>**/*.java</include>
</includes>
to your surefire config (or whatever includes work for you and your file naming scheme).
