I am currently trying to make a metronome with adjustable rhythm and tempo, but I have no idea how to use the Java sound API.
Here's a demo on Oracle's website for the Java Sound API. Also be sure to check out the Java Sound Programmer Guide.

the problem is that we have very complex/complicated interactions which can't really be described as text, so we need images to illustrate it.
So the question is, is there a plugin or some java friendly literate programming environment so we can still work with the java files as they are?

Is there an API for the java decompiler presented here: http://jd.benow.ca/.
it claims that it has a JD-Core component, however I couldn't find any material on how to use the api. I am already using the eclipse plugin JD-GUI, i wanted to know if there is an available API for it.

I'm looking for an API in Java to burn DVDs. I can't find anything on Google, so maybe I'm more lucky here... :-)
I don't see much out there for java but I would look into IMAPI2 with JNI.

I'm moving from .Net to java. So i wanted to know any good community blog site like CodeBetter.com, of java developers.
EDIT: i'm looking for something more than just coding examples, like CodeBetter.com or Artima.com, which influence your thinking.
