I have ACH Java API solution made with Authorize.NET via their eCheck.NET service. BUT they provide only ACH Debits. From customer to my company. No Credits, from me, sending money to the customer.
I was trying to find decent ACH processor but had no luck so far. All of them have very poor Java API docs or completely missing.
I already have paypal solution and amazon fps solution so there is not need to suggest thous.
I tried to talk to somebody at Wells Fargo about their ACH online services but without any luck. They just keep pushing me to the all knowledgeable "Banker".
I know this is not the best place to ask this, so if you know about better place please let me know.
Please simple link to good Java API for ACH Credit doc and I will be happy!
A previous question titled API For Direct Deposit (ACH, EFT, Whatever) has a link over to paymentsgateway's API (pdf). The API they have seems to be very message based, and so the Java Example (zip) they give is really more about setting up a secure https connection to transmit the message. The API docs seem to indicate that they support credits.
Disclaimer: I've not used this API or payment gateway, but I thought I'd try to get the ball rolling...

Hello Stackers :-) ,
I have been asked to send out approx. 2000 emails with unique attachments to unique email addresses.
Background:
Users registered for an event and I am supposed to send out their tickets with unique QR code and seating.
What I have:
List of the email addresses
Generated attachements (JPG, 400kb in size each)
What is no problem for me:
Use any external paid service for this
Code if needed in JAVA (there is where my skill ends)
I am looking for any kind of solution that is reliable and not that problematic to implement. I have very little knowledge of email-tech background. Ends with POP3 / SMTP :)
Could I please ask you for any tips or tricks on this? Anyone here has struggled before with something similar please? I would be greatly thankful for any useful info since Im totally lost
Thank you
Oliver
Dear all,

I wanna add two factor authentication using Google Authenticator and was wondering if google provides with java api's. I tried searching for it but din't find any.
Can anyone point me to the java api if there are any.
If not how can i go about using Google Authenticator in my web based java application.
I am using Spring framework for my existing application
In fact, Google Authenticator has nothing to do with Google services. What you need to look for is TOTP. Research again using TOTP and rfc6238 as keywords and you will find lots of resources.
Java library for google authenticator was implemented and can be found here,
https://github.com/wstrange/GoogleAuth
Sorry if this is too much of a necro-post, but I found this library on GitHub - maybe it can help you (and others looking for the same). :)
Note: this is not an official Google library, but it follows the RFC 6238 spec for Time-based One-time Password (TOTP), and the author looked at the C code for Google Authenticator for reference.

we are developing an simulator application where user can create simulation and run the logic. now in second phase of our project we required hardware triggering using web based application . i required some information on how i am going to interact with PLC machine using my java code we are using modbus serial communication but can be changed if you have some other better solution. as par my research we have seen OPC server but i didn't get anything from that. i want some one can help me to understand what will be flow. how to proceed with this. do i have to write driver for communicating with my application and PLC.
What need to be done complete approach this task. if you have any link please share
thank you
I don't know if this is helpful for you, but we have a java library (LGPL 3.0) which talks natively via TCP/IP with S7 devices.
have a look at http://openscada.org
we also have a OPC interface which is written in plain JAVA, no Windows required.
I use this.
http://www.modbusdriver.com/shop/index.php?cPath=0_42
It is cheap, and the examples and support are good. Their support is out of Australia, though, so you will either be answered at 6:00 at night or while you're asleep.

So we have a web application and we keep changing user interface. Sometimes user asks to tell them about new features and changes. Previously we have sent a group email to let our users know about new features and changes. But email thing is tedious sometimes. Is there any easier way to dynamically announce on everyone's application that these features have been added? Are there any examples , apis for this? I am looking for any apis particularly in Java.
You could have a page on your web app (like a news/updates/announcements page) for this kind of thing. If you are planning major changes then put an article on the news page a little in advance, maybe with some screenshots, so the users know that change is coming.
When the news page changes (ie you have a new announcement to make) then make the link to the page more obvious, a bit like stackoverflow.com does with the link to the blog page.

I can't seem to find one that's been updated recently. If none, is there a good Java library for doing the necessary signature verification, base64 decoding, etc operations needed to interact with Facebook's API?
UPDATE: I'm using Spring Social Facebook to aid in working with Facebook. It doesn't handle everything and isn't perfect, but the best library out there for Java. Looking forward to the ongoing progress from Spring. I asked a couple questions in their forum and responses were informative and super quick.
I just started using RestFB. I looked at Spring first, but this seems like RestFB has a gentler learning curve. I'll update if it works for me.
You can check facebook's official android SDK which is written in Java:
https://github.com/facebook/facebook-android-sdk
all basic things like verification, decoding, etc are there, maybe android-related stuff is not what you need but I guess it is relatively trivial to extract it from there.
hope this helps
i think the semi-official java SDK is the spring social one:
http://www.springsource.org/spring-social
but i wrote a Java wrapper for Facebook's REST GRAPH API
(http calls to the graph api, and translations from json objects to java classes..)
you can check it out here:
https://github.com/itzikrou/fishbowl
hope it's usefull..
https://github.com/roundrop/facebook4j looks nice but haven't yet used it.
For example, the search API look straightforward:
ResponseList<User> results = facebook.searchUsers("mark");
ResponseList<Post> results = facebook.searchPosts("watermelon");
Go to developers.facebook.com , there u will get all API's releated to facebook..also manual regarding how to use them...
