DeployableContainer must be specified error when running Arquillian - java

I've been trying to run this Arquillian example
https://github.com/arquillian/arquillian-examples/tree/master/arquillian-tutorial
There is no error when imported in Eclipse
However I am getting this error when I run as JUnit Test:

The project POM defines a bunch of profiles - arquillian-weld-ee-embedded, arquillian-glassfish-embedded, and arquillian-jbossas-managed. None of them are active by default. You need to activate one of these to run the tests, since the profiles bring in the Arquillian container adapter.
Without a container adapter in the classpath, you're likely to see an java.lang.IllegalArgumentException exception with the message "DeployableContainer must be specified".

Seems like QuickStrat description is quite ambiguous. To enable arq-jboss-remote profile by default you could simply add:
<activation>
<activeByDefault>true</activeByDefault>
</activation>
into this profile definition in a project pom.xml.

Error when trying to run spring boot jar file

I am trying to run a spring boot jar file with java -jar on a windows system.
Below are the steps that i have followed
Created a simple Spring Boot project with Maven as build tool
Update pom.xml to use spring-boot-maven-plugin to bundle dependencies in jar file
Create a jar file using mvn clean install and try to run the jar.
It fails with the following exception:

I cannot pin point why I am getting this problem. I have downloaded the library the usual way using Intellij as well.
The solution to your problem should be to use FontAwesome 8.4-SNAPSHOT.
As described in the following link https://bitbucket.org/Jerady/fontawesomefx/issues/13/illegalaccesserror-on-fontawesomeicon version 8.9 has this bug.
This is the correct dependency:
<dependency>
<groupId>de.jensd</groupId>
<artifactId>fontawesomefx</artifactId>
<version>8.4-snapshot</version>
</dependency>
Hope this helps!

Getting Jodd Jerry: NoClassDefFoundError - jodd/exception/UncheckedException

I am trying to use Jerry module from Jodd in my java project, for that i downloaded
jodd-lagarto- 3.4.5 jar and added in classpath. I started write the code like below.
public void testJerryParserCreation() {
Jerry.JerryParser jerryParser = Jerry.jerry();
((LagartoDOMBuilder) jerryParser.getDOMBuilder()).enableXmlMode();
Jerry doc = jerryParser.parse("<xml> <book isbn='123'> <name>Foo<br></name> </book></xml>");
Jerry name = doc.$("book name");
assertEquals("Foo", name.text());
assertEquals("<xml><book isbn=\"123\"><name>Foo<br></br></name></book></xml>", doc.html());
}
but in the above test in the first line itself, it is giving following exception. what might be the wrong here. Is my jar not correct?

Its simple:) jodd-lagarto module depends on jodd-core module that has the missing class (as well as other utils Lagarto is using). Check the download page to see all modules and dependencies. For your version there might be also a dependency on slf4j logger (this has been removed recently).
You may also consider using some dependency management tool, like gradle or maven. Than all dependencies will be automatically downloaded.
If possible, try using the latest version of Jodd :) At this moment it's 3.4.10; 3.5 is almost out. The new versions contain some important Lagarto-related improvements, fixes and performance boosting :) Enjoy!

Jaxb marshalling failing with ClassNotFound Exception

I have compile my xsd doc and begun to write junit tests for my wrapper.
When I call marshal I get the stack trace below. I was surprised to have an eclipse class not found. (org.eclipse.persistence.jaxb.JAXBContextFactory)
What am I missing from my classpath? Or is there something else I am missing?
I am running eclipse indigo 3.7.2.
My classpath include the following jars:
jaxb-api.jar, jaxb-impl.jar, jaxb-xjc.jar, jaxb1impl.jar, jsr173_1.0_api.jar,
My compiler is set to java 6 compatability.

UPDATE: a manual workaround
The missing jar file is jaxb-impl.jar It is in my class path included from the jars in the ear project. If I add jaxb-impl.jar in the classpath ahead of the default classpath. it runs fine.
In other project in my same workspace I do not have this issue.
you may need the following dependencies, if you are using Maven,please refer to the following dependencies:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.eclipse.persistence</groupId>
<artifactId>org.eclipse.persistence.moxy</artifactId>
<version>2.6.8</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>javax.xml.bind</groupId>
<artifactId>jaxb-api</artifactId>
<version>2.2.11</version>
</dependency>

Has anyone successfully deployed Sonar on Jetty 7?

I am trying to deploy Sonar (automatic code monitoring tool) on a Jetty 7 servlet container.
I would like to use the default config first (embedded Derby DB) as a POC and transition to a production grade DB later.
So far I have tried various ways to make this work (todo: document failed attempts) without any luck...
Did anyone managed to pull this off?
This is the exception I get by deploying in jetty/webapps and launching with
java -DOPTIONS=Server,deploy,jsp -jar start.jar etc/jetty.xml
