Spring home page not found - java

i'm tryiing to setup a spring mvc project in eclipse. I create a dynamic web project and i created sources and configurations file. When i run the project on tomcat ,launched by eclipse, i always have a 404 error.

If you want to open page with name "index.jsp": add following line in your configuration (you must have index.jsp file in /WEB-INF/jsp):
<mvc:view-controller path="/" view-name="index" />
If you want to add some objects to your page you must write simple class, annotate it with #Controller annotation and add methods with mappings:

Spring #Scheduler is executing twice. I am using spring security, if i remove context param spring security not working

I am using spring Scheduler and spring security in my application. If spring-servlet.xml file assign in context param, spring security working fine but spring Scheduler executing twice.

As M.Deinum tell you in comments, you are falling in double loading of the root context.

You must create a new config.xml, let's name it application-context or any other name you prefer. Now you must take your spring-servlet.xml and move nearly all suff ther to the new config file, so both files will be like this:

When i start up the console i get no errors, however when i try to access the following url: http://localhost:8080/projectShaun/home i get the following error:
No mapping found for HTTP request with URI [/projectShaun/] in DispatcherServlet with name 'DispatcherServlet

Do you have welcome.jsp file in WEB-INF/jsp folder? That might be a problem, also you can check that your project context root are correct.(right click on project name -> properties -> web project settings -> in that Context root should be ProjectShaun)

Spring configuration: No mapping found for HTTP request with URI in DispatcherServlet with name 'dispatcherServlet'

I think that something is missing in the configuration files, but I can not see.
When I put in the browser --> localhost:8080/Procura/notifications --> I get in the console this -->

Project structure

I think <bean class="org.springframework.web.servlet.handler.BeanNameUrlHandlerMapping" /> is conflicting with #RequestMapping annotations.
If you want to use annotated request mapping to map your request url to controller, try removing BeanNameUrlHandlerMapping from your spring mvc config

Apparently the Tomcat was corrupted. But now all work correctly.

The first even let the dispatcherServlet block with the suffix such as: *.do;
So that the jsp suffix will not be blocked,The second method is to add in spring-servlet.xml

You seems to be missing the urlmapping file or the mapping for leaveapp. Something like :
