cannot find org.neo4j.batchimport - java

I am continuing to have trouble with the import.bat file for the Neo4j batch importer. I started a new thread as the original problem was resolved.
from the command prompt I run
import.bat test.db sample\nodes.csv sample\rels.csv
With some variations on the path listing for the files, including absolute paths. I continue to get the following error message
The system cannot find the path specified.
Error: Could not find or load main class org.neo4j.batchimport.Importer
I also tried running import.sh from Cygwin and in my Debian VM but keep getting the error
Error: Could not find or load main class org.neo4j.batchimport.Importer
What am I doing wrong?

Please download the zip-file, not the github clone.
This is a pre-build binary as outlined in the readme, that doesn't require that you have to have maven installed to build it.

Getting Error: Could not find or load main class org.apache.axis2.transport.SimpleAxis2Server

I am new to Axis , I am trying to start Axis2 as a Standalone Server using the Standard Binary Distribution package in Linux. I went through this guide: https://axis.apache.org/axis2/java/core/docs/installationguide.html
I have downloaded and unpacked the distribution in it's own directory and i have also set environment variables AXIS2_HOME and JAVA_HOME as follows :
export AXIS2_HOME=/opt/axis2-1.8.2
echo $AXIS2_HOME returns
/opt/axis2-1.8.2
export JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.8.0-openjdk-amd64/bin
echo $JAVA_HOME returns
/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.8.0-openjdk-amd64/bin
When trying to run axis2server.sh which is essentially the script to start the server I get the following prompts :
user#serverFoo/opt/axis2-1.8.2/bin$ ./axis2server.sh
Using AXIS2_HOME: /opt/axis2-1.8.2
Using JAVA_HOME: /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.8.0-openjdk-amd64/bin
Error: Could not find or load main class org.apache.axis2.transport.SimpleAxis2Server
Coming from a JAVA background I understand that it can't find or load the server class, although I can't find any resources in the web pointing to the specific error .
EDIT : I have also added CLASSPATH variable pointing to the AXIS2_HOME/lib directory i.e
export CLASSPATH=/opt/axis2-1.8.2/lib/*.jar but still the same .
Any ideas would be welcome.
Thanks

Smart can't install...no package provides shared object file

Problem
I'm attempting to create a Bitbake recipe which will install Oracle JRE 8 onto my target OS.
I've tried to use metadata from meta-oracle-java, but had some difficulties due to one of the .inc files which are provided for general JREs has a JRE-7-specific URI.
I've changed some of the metadata from meta-oracle-java and created my own recipe to do this install.
Tests
A Build of the JRE Recipe by Itself
When building the recipe by itself:
bitbake oracle-jse-jre
The build completes without error. I've added a dependency on libav into the oracle-jse-jre recipe, so I can do the following from TMPDIR:
$ find . -name libavformat*so
./work/core2-64-poky-linux/libav/9.18-r0/sysroot-destdir/usr/lib/libavformat.so.54.20.4
./work/core2-64-poky-linux/libav/9.18-r0/sysroot-destdir/usr/lib/libavformat.so
./work/core2-64-poky-linux/libav/9.18-r0/sysroot-destdir/usr/lib/libavformat.so.54
./sysroots/genericx86-64/usr/lib/libavformat.so.54.20.4
./sysroots/genericx86-64/usr/lib/libavformat.so
./sysroots/genericx86-64/usr/lib/libavformat.so.54
Runtime Dependency Success
If I add the default package from the oracle-jse-jre recipe to RDEPENDS_${PN} of another recipe xenoros_0.1.bb, I can run bitbake xenoros and build without errors.
Core Image Failure
If I add xenoros to the IMAGE_INSTALL variable of a core-image-xenoros, the build fails with the following error:

ERROR: Task 7 (/home/presslertj/yocto-OS/poky-jethro-build/meta-myLayer/recipes-core/images/core-image-my-server.bb, do_rootfs) failed with exit code '1'
Looking inside TMPDIR, I can find this:
/sysroots/genericx86-64/usr/lib/libavformat.so.54
It seems there's a version mismatch, where smart expects version 53, but 54 is provided.
Reverting libav's version
Just to test what's going on, I've made a recipe which fetches version 0.8.17 of libav (which uses version 53). When using this instead of 9.18, I have the exact opposite problem, that smart expects but can't find version 54.
Questions
How does smart determine the version number for these shared object files?
What about the do_rootfs() task causes the build to fail at this specific time?
Is there a simple resolution to my specific problem?
1) It's not smart, but rather rpmbuild, that is adding dependencies derived from the ELF DT_NEEDED field (see elfutils -a).
2) The do_rootfs() task is failing because of unresolved dependencies.
3) Since you are using Poky/Yocto and rpm5, there is a simple way to mask the issue (substituting whatever dependencies are causing you heartburn)
echo "unresoved_dependency" > /etc/rpm/sysinfo/Providename
That is just a band-aid; you still need to figure out the packaging issues rather than masking the underlying problem with how you are building rpm packages.
For anyone that still encounter this error: as stated in the README file of the meta-oracle-java repo
There are some known install problems for JRE packages due to dependencies reported by RPM package manager.
Switching to DEB or IPK packaging temporarily fixes this.
ie:
PACKAGE_CLASSES = "package_deb"
or
PACKAGE_CLASSES = "package_ipk"
in your 'local.conf' file

Java error while running maxent in biomod2

I am running maxent from R, in the package biomod2 and the following error appeared. I do not come from a technical background and wasn't sure why is this error happening. Is it a memory problem or someone said the java path is not set. But I followed the instructions to set maxent to run in R and also downloaded Java Platform, Standard Edition Development Kit and set a path for it as explained in this pdf: http://modata.ceoe.udel.edu/dev/dhaulsee/class_rcode/r_pkgmanuals/MAXENT4R_directions.pdf
I would be really grateful if you could help me understand this problem and any solution to it.
Thanks a lot

I've just manage to solve this problem - it is a problem with the file path specified. For me, I had a space in one of the folder names which was not accepted in the path to the maxent.jar file. From looking at your error, it looks like it might be the two backslashes.
E:\bioclim_2.5min\model/maxent.jar
should probably read
E:/bioclim_2.5min/model/maxent.jar

java path on linux (ubuntu)

I try to build my app with phonegap. But when I type in command line "phonegap run android"
then I see this error:
Unable to locate tools.jar. Expected to find it in /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk-amd64/lib/tools.jar
Buildfile: /home/beatnory/ReisWekker/platforms/android/build.xml
I think the problem is "ant". When I try to run that I see this
Unable to locate tools.jar. Expected to find it in /usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk-amd64/lib/tools.jar
When I take a look at "/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk-amd64/" I see this folder doesn't exsist.
the good path is "/usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-amd64/".
I added "PATH=${PATH}:~/usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-amd64/" to the "~/.bash_profile" file.
After I run ant he still use "/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk-amd64/".
How can I fix this?

Jruby Applets: (LoadError) no such file to load

I'm currently having real problems trying to get the gem Nokogiri to work in my applet. I have the jruby-complete-1.7.3 jar and have attempted to install gems using the normal install line:
java -jar jruby-compelete-1.7.3.jar -S gem install nokogiri
And also I have tried the Gem-In-A-Jar method. At first it works fine, and allows me to eval ruby code and store the data returned. My problem arises when I add in the line:
require 'nokogiri'
While that line works fine in the irb, when trying to access it from the applet I get the following error:
classpath:/META-INF/jruby.home/lib/ruby/shared/rubygems.rb:396 warning: can't
canonicalize loaded names due to security restrictions; disabling
Message: (LoadError) no such file to load -- nokogiri
Stacktrace:
org.jruby.exceptions.RaiseException: (LoadError) no such file to load -- nokogiri

at RUBY.require(classpath:/META-INF/jruby.home/lib/ruby/shared/rubygems/custom_require.rb:36)
at RUBY.(root)(<script>:2)
I simply can't figure out why this exception is occuring. I've tried:
moving the gems manually into the "META-INF/jruby.home/lib/ruby/gems/shared" folder
I've added "require 'rubygems'" above the the nokogiri call.
Accessing the gems via the Gems-in-a-jar method: http://blog.nicksieger.com/articles/2009/01/10/jruby-1-1-6-gems-in-a-jar/
If anyone has an idea where I've gone wrong, or a solution to this issue, I'd greatly appreciate it.
