Unable to start application after upgrading jackson-databind version

I am working on a spring boot application, I want to upgrade jackson-databind from 2.9.10.2 to 2.10.2. Below is snippet from my pom.xml and error I am getting after upgrading dependency :

You usually can't just rip out a dependencies dependency and replace it with another version. It might work but doesn't have to and with jackson you seem out of luck. If there was any refactoring or changes to the API of the inner dependency that's used by the outer one, you'll see ClassNotFoundException like you do or MethodNotFound ones.
you will need to update your com.fasterxml.jackson.dataformat:jackson-dataformat-xml to version 2.10.2 (or even 2.10.3.

#Nicktar was partially correct, issue was with jackson-core. jackson-core resolved from jackson-dataformat-xml(2.10.3) was version 2.9.9, explicitly bumping it to required 2.10.3 fixed the issue. Thanks for the help though.

For later readers: importing jackson-bom and not specifying individual dependency versions is one way to avoid some of these version-skew issues.

CXF running on WEBSPHERE

I developped an apllication with CXF for calling web services and creating web services. When i tried to deploy this application under websphere with using Websphere console, it gave the following error :

I used parent class loader from websphere.But it did not work for me. What should I do ?

I faced the same problem and after searching on the web found a working solution for me.

In addition to this solution you have to change class loading order as 'classes loaded with local class loader first' under the manage modules tab.Because was has it's jar that conflicts you jars when you select this option all jars on the was will be suppressed.

Its an Out of Memory Error - your JVM has run out of heap space initializing the webapp. Generally Spring takes care of cyclical references but pasting your bean config XML would help as well - like which scopes you're using, autowiring vs. not, etc.
You might want to increase the heap size using -Xmx VM parameter.

Looks like you have a cyclical reference that just kept on trying to wire up until it exhausted your JVM, you'll need to post your spring file for more help
