Why doesn't the onListItemClick function in the ListFragment fire when I add a button or edittext to the item?

I render each element of my ListFragment with two buttons and edittext, but in this case, onListItemClick does not work for me. And as soon as you hide the buttons and edittext in the adapter, everything immediately starts working, I think that this is some kind of conflict between the fields, but I don’t know how to fix it. I will be grateful for any help.

I solved my problem with setFocusable(false), for every element that can intercept input from other components like Button, EditText, CheckBox and others.

Android Studio: W/OpenGLRenderer: Failed to choose config with EGL_SWAP_BEHAVIOR_PRESERVED

I am trying to make a movie list, but it only shows a white screen with the app name. Apparently, I have a very similar program to this and it runs perfectly fine. This is what I get when I run the program.

Does anyone have a solution for this one?

This is just a warning, and since it retries without the configuration option without (I am assuming from your comments) a followup error, this is not the source of your problem.
It's not a bad guess, since this is for an OpenGL-related class (android/opengl/EGL14), but it's not the source of your problem.

custom listview on fragment - can't use getActivity()

I am trying to add delete button next to my item details basing on this answer.
I tried it on a new project, it works perefect:
and when I click delete, I delete the item.
sadly, I tried to use it in my own project when my listView is in calendar_tab.xml. calendar_tab uses CompactCalendarTab.java - fragment class.
so Android Studio errored:

Android ListView OnClickListener

I need to add a code responsible for action when one row from my list is clicked. I don't know if it should be OnItemClickListener or OnClickListener and how&where to write it. My app is with view holder. Here is my code:

Just remove the focus for the checkbox in xml like below:

android:layout_height="wrap_content" />
because of check box focus list item click listeners wont work.

Just remove onClick from your adapter class. And add OnItemClickListener to your ListView
example:
JobListAdapter jobListAdapter = new JobListAdapter (...);
listView.setAdapter(jobListAdapter);
listView..setOnItemClickListener(new OnItemClickListener()

Change inflated row in adapter on click

I have an adapter with buttons and text views. It represents friend requests.
TextView text would be : Do you want to accept X as your friend?
There are 2 buttons : one for accepting, one for declining. Pressing Decline, it would just remove the row from the ListView, while pressing accept will change the text into: X and Y are now friends.
My question is how can I get the position of the row and change it on button press and also save the View for next time I access it?
Adapter : At the moment I don't have proper data structure for the adapter, so for testing purposes, just using a String:
