Oozie jobs struck in running state - java

I installed oozie 4.0.1 on a hadoop 2.2 cluster. After that, I tried to run a oozie job(java action). Everything seems to be fine :
When I run job.properties,it gives the job id as usually.
When i checked oozie console job is in running state.
It runs the java code.
However, oozie suddenly stops and shows the following error.
ACTION[0000001-140526105244150-oozie-labu-W#javaMainAction] Exception in check(). What is the problem ?

If you are working in hadoop-2.2.0 you must start job historyserver to avoid the above mentioned error.
By default historyserver was located in hadoop/sbin. while starting hadoop some times jobhistory server will not run so must start jobhistory server manually using below command.
hadoop/sbin/mr-jobhistory-daemon.sh start historyserver

How to resolve this issue?
Your solr url is not valid. You need to write the core as well. By default the core is collection1. Therefore, in your case the url is http://localhost:8983/solr/collection1
Solr doesn't seem to be running - Connection refused indicates that something is unable to contact whatever it should contact. Your configuration is probably broken, or you haven't started Solr or you're running on a different port.

Firstly, The error key as following:
Unable to instantiate
org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.metadata.SessionHiveMetaStoreClient at
org.apache.hadoop.hive.ql.session.SessionState.start(SessionState.java:522).
Have some solution for this error:
Check your configuration file hive-site.xml, you must be ensure some permission valid for file or directory paths.
delete metastore_db directory(if you metastore_db have not important information)
re-run hive shell
Note: you must be ensure hive-site.xml enable to access by hive process.
I got the same error 1st.
What I did was in the /usr/local/hive/conf/ there is a property named hive-log4j2.properties.template. I just renamed it to hive-log4j2.properties, since your hive logs into this property.
Logging initialized using configuration in file:/usr/local/hive/conf/hive-log4j2.properties
I've also deleted the metastore_db directory.
Finally, when I run "HIVE", I get this exception.
I've fixed this exception by removing the (derby database) contents in the "metastore_db"
in,
/usr/local/hive/bin/metastore_db/
sudo rm -rf *
After cleaning the old schema, I reinitializes with:
/usr/local/hive/bin/
$schematool -initSchema -dbType derby
Your /bin directory may vary according to your hive path setup.

Failed to connect to JMX while started to use the JMX authentication on Linux

My JMX client failed to connect to JMX server while I have started to use the JMX authentication.
I use Java 8 and Centos6.
I have configured the following settings:
JAVA_OPTS="${JAVA_OPTS} -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.authenticate=true -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.password.file=<path to password file> -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.access.file=<path to access file>"
Unfortunately my JMX client failed to connect to JMX server with the following exception:

To solve it I read carefully the documentation:
http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/technotes/guides/management/agent.html#gdeup
The following comment about the password file is very important:
You must ensure that only the owner has read and write permissions on this file, since it contains the passwords in clear text. For security reasons, the system checks that the file is only readable by the owner and exits with an error if it is not.
I set read permission to a user and my client successfully connects to the JMX server:
chmod 400 <path to password file>

what is the problem? my internet connection is direct.
I had the same error. I changed the connection URL from
<property name="connection.url">jdbc:hsqldb:hsql://localhost</property>
to
<property name="connection.url">jdbc:hsqldb:mem://localhost</property>
and it did the trick.
Had the same error. I forgot 'configuration' tag at conf/nutch-site.xml:
<configuration>
<property>
<name>storage.data.store.class</name>
<value>org.apache.gora.hbase.store.HBaseStore</value>
<description>Default class for storing data</description>
</property>
</configuration>
