Probable JAVA Version 7 Update 67 Installation Problem - javac.exe not found
I think that there is no problem in giving contact numbers and this is not a same query as it is on Windows 7.
After installing I tried to check javac.exe in this dir C:\Java\jdk67\bin and it was not present there. Then I searched C:\ and could not find there.
I installed JDK from the site:
https://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
I think that the installer has some problem.

Rohan, You can download Java for software development or running applications.
For java software development You need to download the Java JDK (which contains the java compiler javac.exe) at: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk7-downloads-1880260.html
For Java application execution You need to download the Java JRE (which contains the java interpreter) at: http://java.com/download/index.jsp

Then, i have installed Java
Until now everything seems to be correct but when I open the Eclipse installer...
What can I do to fix this? I need to work with this the soon as possible.

Eclipse on macOS will not start with Java 14 installed, this is being tracked in Eclipse bug 561273.
Installing Java 8 as well does not help. You need to remove the Java 14 install. You could use the Java 13.0.2 release instead.
Eclipse have determined that the root cause of this issue is a change in Java 14 which is described in this bug report JDK-8238225. The fix for this should be in Java 14.0.1
Update: Eclipse runs fine with Oracle Java 14.0.1 so the issue has been fixed.
I also asked this question which was closed, that's why I answer what I have found out: Eclipse will not install on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4, saying the above error message
Failed to create the Java Virtual Machine.
Deinstalling jdk and install an older one wouldn't help on its own because Eclipse is refusing to install in the first place (as mentioned above). What I have done:
i´ve installed an JDK with boost (you can try several, mine worked with Version 13)
I edited the installer:
Download the dmg file
convert the dmg-file with "hdiutil convert /dev/disk3s1 -format UDRW -o devimage"
mount the converted dmg-file with: "hdiutil attach -owners on devimage.dmg -shadow"
Edit the /Volumes/Eclipse/Eclipse.app/Contents/Info.plist: there is a section which is commented and there you can try the jdk version. You have to give the full path to the java executable, for example:
<string>-vm</string><string>/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk-13.0.2.jdk/Contents/Home/bin/java</string>
Then my eclipse started from the (already) mounted Eclipse image without complaining
I had the same issue myself a while back. In your Eclipsepedia it provided an example of what the eclipse.ini file looks like when your trying to specify a JVM. So just change the eclipse.ini file and then make sure that you have all of the correct documents in that path to match the example.

I'm trying to setup Unity to build for Android. But I can't get the Java Development Kit. Can't download it and can't find it either.
In this answer, the guy says
To ensure JDK is installed, just go through the following :
press Win + R
type 'cmd' in the popup and press button OK.
in the console which has opened, type javac -version and press enter.
You should see as an output :
javac 1.8.0_XX
If so SDK is installed.
I did that and I got "javac 1.8.0_XX", and so I assumed I had the JDK, so I went to Unity > External Tools > JDK and tried linking the following path: "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0", and got the error message: "The path you specified does not look like a valid JDK installation. Android development requires at least JDK(1.7), having JRE only is not enough. Please make sure you are selecting a suitable JDK home directory or download and install the latest JDK: link"
I clicked the download link for windows x64 and it never loads and eventually says there's no connection. I tried the x86 as well.

Answer: For windows, in the command prompt:
c:\> for %i in (java.exe) do #echo. %~$PATH:i
And so I did that and got the path "C:\ProgramData\Oracle\Java\javapath\java.exe"
When I try linking via Unity > External tools > JDK it doesn't find any files.

#RealAnyOne, you have installed Java with JRE only installation i.e., without out a JDK that’s what you see only one folder and this is why it also showing version in the command line since it won’t check for JDK. JRE is Java Runtime Environment, JDK is Java Development Kit which contains many essential libraries. So Ideally there should be two folders JRE and JDK. This is the reason you are getting this issue with Unity.
To Fix::
Uninstall old Java 8
Download Java 8 from the oracle website
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html
Install it. Now you should have two folders. Then point your Unity to it.
I am trying to install something via a jar file:
java -jar filename.jar'
I then get this error:
You need at least Java version 1.7 to run the installer.
However, you appear to be running version 1.8.0_20.
Please run the installer with the requisite Java version.

I am still kinda new to this, but doesn't this mean it needs Java 1.7 or higher and I am running 1.8?
How would I go about fixing this?
Java 8 has some bugs right now... Just install Java 7 alongside Java 8 and it should work
