I found a package that might help me send mails from my java using my outlook and it is called Java Outlook Connector.
i put the code and compile normally but when i send the email an error occurs.
this error is that java didnt find my class imported. on the other hand i imported the classes carefully and inserted them in my Jdeveloper library but still the error is appearing.
i think mainly the error now is due to not setting the java library path correctly. how can i solve this problem?
Below is my code and my error

You can send emails using the "normal" method even if you only have intranet. Outlook is nothing fancy other than an User friendly interface for the email system. To be precise, you can send email using smtp protocal as long as you can connect to your mailing server even if it is intranet.
Outlook is a COM server which you can automate using the OLE COM technology. I don't use Java for developing, but I hope you will find how to call the COM servers in Java, for example - Is there OLE Automation in Java?. See Using Automation to Send a Microsoft Outlook Message. It shows you how to use Automation to create and send a Microsoft Outlook message.
Also you may find the How to automate Outlook from another program article helpful.
i fount the answer
the problem was in the library path
i just needed to go to the library options in Jdeveloper and reselect the library in the JAR/Directory

I'm using Java version 8 update 261. I know that PDI requires Java 8 so I don't understand why I'm having this issue. Currently, I have to delete and then create a new database connection for each job, which is really tedious.
How do I resolve this issue? Or is there another way to set my database connections so that I don't have to create a new one for each job?
I don't know about your error message, but to share connections IN YOUR PC you have the option in the View tab:
I have an empty transformation, so all the DB connections shown are the shared ones, if I had a new connection in the transformation it would be also shown but the connection name wouldn't be in bold letters.
Beware, the shared connections information are only available in your PC, and the connection information is copied to the transformation or job, so if you change the information in your shared connection, you need to reopen all the transformations and jobs that use it and save them with the new information.
In the .kettle folder in your user folder there's a shared.xml file with the shared connections information.
I am trying to call a webservice from my webapplication which works fine with servers like Apache Tomcat or JBoss, but fails with below exception in Weblogic server.
Any solution for this ?

In your weblogic-application.xml you must define your JAXB-provider to be the one from cxf not the sun reference implementation (com.sun.xml...).
Add the following to the mentioned file
<prefer-web-inf-classes>true</prefer-web-inf-classes>
This leads to reversing the classloading process. So the classes you provide with your war are loaded before the ones from weblogic.
EDIT:
The Documentation for Provider says:
The algorithm used to locate the provider subclass to use consists of
the following steps:
If a resource with the name of META-INF/services/javax.xml.ws.spi.Provider exists, then its first
line, if present, is used as the UTF-8 encoded name of the
implementation class.
If the $java.home/lib/jaxws.properties file exists and it is readable by the java.util.Properties.load(InputStream) method and it
contains an entry whose key is javax.xml.ws.spi.Provider, then the
value of that entry is used as the name of the implementation class.
If a system property with the name javax.xml.ws.spi.Provider is defined, then its value is used as the name of the implementation
class.
Finally, a default implementation class name is used.
so, if the changing the classloading is not enough add the following
<prefer-application-resources>
<resource-name>META-INF/services/javax.xml.ws.spi.Provider</resource-name>
</prefer-application-resources>
to weblogic-application.xml
I'm getting 'Connection timed out' on a SOAP request to another company's webservice. I have used wsimport to create the Java classes from the wsdl. I don't think its a problem on the other companies end, because they have provided me with a little app which uses the webservice to quickly test what results I should get when I code it myself, and that works fine.
In the example below I am trying to get data about 'Staff' at a school ...
OtherCompanyWebService ws = new OtherCompanyWebService();
OtherCompanyWebServicePortType port = ws.getOtherCompanyWebServiceHttpSoap11Endpoint();
ServiceRequest serviceRequest = makeMyServiceRequest();
Staff staff = port.getStaffData(serviceRequest).getStaff().getValue();
On the final line of code, I get the following error ...

Edit 1: it appears that the endpoints in the wsdl file are internal addresses. This is why I cant connect. Do I need to set these endpoints to something else in my code somehow???
Any advice? Thanks.
Like I said in the edit to the question, the endpoints in the wsdl need changing (even though this sounds crazy to me). This can be done as follows ...
BindingProvider bindingProvider = (BindingProvider) port;
bindingProvider.getRequestContext().put(
BindingProvider.ENDPOINT_ADDRESS_PROPERTY,
"https://blah/blah/blah");
Actually I have faced similar issue; The wsdl can be accessible from any whr inside the company(Through browser).But while calling webservice(through client code) throws time out Exception. In that case what i did ,i raised a CR for making my system outside the particular domain and open the port on the system so that it would post the request using webservice client. You can consult to your (infrastructure management team who are basically installing s/w solving system related issue)
One more thing is that most of the company use microsoft based proxy. So if u can use proxy bipassing code (NTLM based) . and use that for testing perpous but that would be a through away code because any way proxy bipassing code should not go to production
I have a problem which I have boiled down to this simple example.
import java.applet.Applet;
import javax.xml.soap.MessageFactory;
import javax.xml.soap.SOAPMessage;
public class SOAPTest2 extends Applet {
private static final long serialVersionUID = -1;
public void init(){
try{
MessageFactory mf = MessageFactory.newInstance();
SOAPMessage sm = mf.createMessage();
System.out.println("About to fail");
sm.writeTo(System.out);
System.out.println();
System.out.println("If you see this, it didn't fail.");
} catch (Exception e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}
}
}
When I run this in eclipse (JDK 1.6.0_27) It works as I would expect, and I get the following output:
About to fail
<SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><SOAP-ENV:Header/><SOAP-ENV:Body/></SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
If you see this, it didn't fail.
When I run this in a browser as an applet I get the following error in the java console.
About to fail

I am at a loss as to why this is occurring. I am simply creating en empty SOAPMessage and trying to write it to System.out. I am not accessing any local resources. I have done much searching on MessageImpl.saveChanges and FastInfosetReflection to no avail. Please give the example a try, and let me know if you have any ideas.
Respectfully, I ask that any answers that tell me to sign my Jar be accompanied by a reasonable explanation given the minimal example above that does not access local resources.
The exception is self explanatory:
Caused by: java.security.AccessControlException: access denied
(java.util.PropertyPermission
com.sun.xml.internal.fastinfoset.parser.string-interning read)
SAAJ imposes security restrictions and you have no problem when you run in Eclipse but when running from Applet, you run inside a sandbox and security manager stops the flow
Definitely a signing issue.
http://java.sun.com/developer/onlineTraining/Programming/JDCBook/signed.html
You can try it out with the exact values from that link (in this sample the only thing that is different is that the jar is called sample.jar):
Build a jar called sample.jar
Run: keytool -genkey -alias signFiles -keystore compstore -keypass kpi135 -dname "cn=jones" -storepass ab987c
Run: jarsigner -keystore compstore -storepass ab987c -keypass kpi135 -signedjar Ssample.jar sample.jar signFiles
I should add that I know this is the solution since I work with FuryComputers ... I have no idea why it is the solution though - anyone else have any ideas?
While editing some code a developer noticed this error after a recompile in Weblogic 10.3.3. And the underlying object is a DimensionLabel. And we tried this in Weblogic 9.2 and it works fine with no exception. The developer simply recompiled the class calling the DimensionLabel the SearchServiceProcessor and reran the application.

Here is my code :
DimensionLabel dimLabel = (DimensionLabel);
dimensionLabel.get(currentDimension.getName());
currentRefinementDimension = new Refinement(); // Exception here
currentRefinementDimension.setExpanded(true);
I debugged into the code and the hashtable dimensionLabel has a DimensionLabel in it.
If you can debug into the code then check from where your class is being called from. Generally you need to call
this.getClass().getProtectionDomain().getCodeSource().getLocation()
This will tell you the jar from which your classes are loaded. Check if there is a jar conflict(old jar etc.)
