Java GUI KeyEvent and stuff - java

Ok.... what I want is for the user to choose what input he wants for my keyPress with a GUI, which i have a place i save and load a config with the VK Key code.
So VK_W = 87 and it saves 87 in a config file. So i want to have a Choice or button that can pick what VK/number that will be pick to be KeyPressed.

Print To File in Java

i have a problem in my java exercise.
i need to print a multiply contact information to a file, but when i print more then 1 contact, only 1 contact is displayed in the file..

Every time you create PrintWriter the file is being overwritten. Since you create a new PrintWriter for each contact, the file contains only the last contact information. What you should do is to create PrintWriter only once and use it for all contacts.
Firstly, let's create a new save method with such signature:
public void save(PrintWriter writer)
I have also used the lowercase name of the method due to Java naming convention.
Now the implementation of save method will look like this:

Then we should replace the usage of Save method with the new one. Here is your code:

I have also used try-with-resources which closes the PrintWriter automatically.
From the Javadoc of the constructor of PrintWriter:
public PrintWriter​(File file)
Parameters: file - The file to use as the destination of this writer. If the file exists then it will be truncated to zero size; otherwise, a new file will be created. The output will be written to the file and is buffered.
In the Save function you create a PrintWriter everytime. So everytime the file is truncated, and then you lose the contact you saved before.
Since File I/O classes in java use Decorator Design pattern, you can use a FileWriter to take advantage of appending to a file. So you can use this code for Save() method :

Flatbuffer writing in binary file in android give only single response

I am new at flatbuffer. I had created a schema file from outside the project and adding the user(Monster as in Flatbuffer document) inside the binary via java code in android. everything works fine. but the time of reading binary file data it only gives me the user length 1. I had added 3 people but it's give me the length of monsters is 1 at the time of reading. can anyone help to figure this out. Here is the code->

String[] cannot be converted to State[]

Just wondering what I have done wrong here I'm getting an error in the method setLine() which is:
error: incompatible types: String[] cannot be converted to State[]
Im not too sure on what to do to fix it since I need the line to be split and stored in that state array so I can determine whether if it is a state or location when reading from a csv file.

This error occurs, as it just says 'String[] cannot be converted to State[]'. That is like you wanted to store an Integer into a String, it's the same, because the types don't have a relation to each other (parent -> child).
So if you want to solve your problem you need a method which converts the String[] into a State[]. Something like this:

Why is the value not printing in the text view?

I'm trying to print '1' or '0' in text view if it passes the if statements. I ran it in the debug mode, and it all works, but it is not printing in the text view. How do I fix this I tried a lot of stuff, but I'm still stuck.

Program for file transfer in java using sockets

I have written a java code to transfer files from one server to another using the concept of socket programming. I got the codes from another java forum that meet my requirements. The program is said to transfer large sized files (like .mkv , .mprg movies) from one machine to another and can be used to transfer files of all formats. But after running the codes I found that the program is not able to transfer large sized files such as movies and even pdf of sizes 80mb or 111mb. The program has used bytebuffer but still error occurs. Note that:-
ClientMain.java and DirectoryTxr.java are the two classes under client application.
ServerMain.java and DirectoryRcr.java are the two classes under Server application.
run the ClientMain.java and ServerMain.java simultaneously
Also specify the source directory, destination directory and host address of the machine in which server is running in the ClientMain.java(as per your computer). Here we are not specifying source file ,instead a source directory or folder is specifying.So the entire files of source directory will be transferred.

You can check this code. This code can send files till 2GB of file size. Checked and working. Basically what I do here is first I send the file size and file name in an object then I start sending the file. First of all let me show you the class whose object will carry the File's details and send it to Receiver.

You don't need all this. The canonical way to copy a stream in Java is as follows. It works for any buffer size greater than zero. I generally use 8192. There is certainly no necessity to read entire files into memory. It just wastes time and space.
