I'm developping Library System with Java in awt framework.
If user click add book interface open in same window with different components.For example after clicking,add book menu components removing and add books components added to same window. My problems is after user in section add book if user click menu section,menu component is not shown although components added.Main activity:

I have a class Hangman and one class GUI. Hangman class for the process. So, I want to passing the value String form Hangman class to jLabel in GUI. It seems that in the GUI class you declare a member variable, Hangman hangman, but you never initialize it. Therefore, the code jLabelGuess.setText(hangman.resultstring); and similar calls will result in a null pointer exception.
In the GUI class, you just only declare Hangman hangman, which mean the class Hangman has never been called to execute or initialized any value. Therefore, hangman.resultstring is null when you called jLabelGuess.setText(hangman.resultstring), since resultstring value is get from Hangman class; and cause Null Pointer Exception error at jLabelGuess.setText() and the function jButtonStartActionPerformed()
You might fix it if you initialize the Hangman class: Hangman hangman = new Hangman(); Or calling the function that initializes the value of resultstring which is hangman.initialComponent()
I have this problem in JAVA where I need to take multiple doubles separated by; from a single jTextField and store them into an array each time I click save button, I also want to set a limit of 5 inputs for example :
12;13;14;15;16 into my jtextfield and then I want it to stop until I click on save and then it became blank and so on

you can take the JTextField text with getText() method and then you can tokenize this string with StringTokenizer st = new StringTokenizer(textField.getText(),";"). Then you can store every char between ";" with

Remember that a size of an array is static and defined when the array is declared and initialized. You can use other data structure, such as an ArrayList<T>.

I am working on a quiz for a school assignment and i am attempting to create a GUI using JFrame. I had an idea to make all the buttons invisible and only appear after clicking the start button. However when I attempted to do so by using the .setVisible(false) command in the main method, it gives me a nullpointerexception. Write your customize method to modify your query to fetch exact data you want eg you want to get all student's name your query should be String select = "Select StudName from studentmaster" instead of String select = "Select * from studentmaster" so create a generic method which will take parameters of the columns which will be fetched by query
