I had some problems When I use Spring boot(1.2.5) with ActiveMQ(5.11.1).
When I set below value in sping boot's application.properties
spring.activemq.broker-url=tcp://localhost:61616
It works well.
When I set another value like below:
spring.activemq.broker-url=stomp://localhost:61613
It throws :
Could not create Transport. Reason: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid connect parameters: {wireFormat.host=localhost}
Or like
spring.activemq.broker-url=mqtt://localhost:1883
Also Throws
Could not create Transport. Reason: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Invalid connect parameters: {wireFormat.host=localhost}

Any one can help me out? Thans a lot !
The errors you're getting sound like the ones you'd get if you tried to use STOMP for a broker-to-broker networkConnection (see section #1 in the middle of http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/activemq-users/201502.mbox/%3C1424962402912-4692106.post#n4.nabble.com%3E); are you sure that spring.activemq.broker-url is how you're supposed to set the URL at which the broker is listening? (After all, your log shows that you're listening on a number of protocols/ports already, which doesn't seem like it's being controlled by that property.)

I am encountering the following error while trying to connect the ignitevisor to a running cluster.
The server is running in a pod inside Kubernetes and I attempted to launch ignitevisor in the pod using a copy of the client configuration.
This procedure has worked for me in the past, not sure what the issue is now.
I checked the Ignite sever and there are no errors there.

hope you would help me solve the issue I am facing with MariaDB R2DBC connections in Spring Boot.
What I have in my app is consumers from RabbitMQ that on message received do some DB operations (select, insert, update etc). If relevant, RabbitMQ consuming is set according to this example.
The issue is as follows.
While there is constant flow of messages from RabbitMQ (e.g. in production), everything works fine. But in other environments like testing where I send only a batch of messages via RabbitMQ after the last message is processed and after a while in idle I have these messages:

Here is how I connect to DB & configure server:
server:
port: 8180
netty:
connection-timeout: 60m // added later trying to fix
spring:
r2dbc:
url: r2dbc:mariadb://<stage_ip>:3306/<database_name>
username: <user>
password: <password>
pool:
max-idle-time: 60m
enabled: true
and here are some of dependencies versions I have in the project:
<parent>
<groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-boot-starter-parent</artifactId>
<version>2.5.6</version>
</parent>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.mariadb</groupId>
<artifactId>r2dbc-mariadb</artifactId>
<version>1.0.3</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>io.r2dbc</groupId>
<artifactId>r2dbc-pool</artifactId>
<version>0.8.7.RELEASE</version>
</dependency>
We are using Spring boot 1.5.10.RELEASE.
Earlier we are using 4.0.21 - Following code worked with 4.0.21
#Bean
MongoClient mongoClient() {
....
credentials.add(MongoCredential.createScramSha1Credential(username, "admin", mongoPas.toCharArray()));
---
return new MongoClient(new ServerAddress(hostname, port), credentials, options);
}
Now we migrated to MaaS 4.2.1 .
SCRAM-SHA-1 has been deprecated in our organization, all clusters will be updated to allow only SCRAM-SHA-256 during the upgrade during the Maas 4.0 to 4.2 upgrade.
Using mongo compass we can connect to our mongodb databse but not through application.
We need createScramSha256Credential to connect to mongodb database. so did following code change
credentials.add(MongoCredential.createScramSha1Credential(username, "admin", mongoPas.toCharArray()));
Note - spring-boot-starter-data-mongodb dependency already added in pom.xml
& Added 2 new dependency in pom.xml
<dependency>
<groupId>org.mongodb</groupId>
<artifactId>mongo-java-driver</artifactId>
<version>3.12.8</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.mongodb</groupId>
<artifactId>mongodb-driver-core</artifactId>
<version>3.12.7</version>
</dependency>
Not getting compilation error but while starting application. Getting following exception
Caused by: org.springframework.beans.BeanInstantiationException: Failed to instantiate [com.mongodb.MongoClient]: Factory method 'mongoClient' threw exception; nested exception is java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.mongodb.connection.DefaultClusterFactory.create(Lcom/mongodb/connection/ClusterSettings;Lcom/mongodb/connection/ServerSettings;Lcom/mongodb/connection/ConnectionPoolSettings;Lcom/mongodb/connection/StreamFactory;Lcom/mongodb/connection/StreamFactory;Ljava/util/List;Lcom/mongodb/event/ClusterListener;Lcom/mongodb/event/ConnectionPoolListener;Lcom/mongodb/event/ConnectionListener;Lcom/mongodb/event/CommandListener;Ljava/lang/String;Lcom/mongodb/client/MongoDriverInformation;)Lcom/mongodb/connection/Cluster;

I was trying to configure couchdb with spring but when i deploy the project it gives me java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused.
and the dataSource.xml defined below configs. values are read from property file.
<context:annotation-config />
<context:property-placeholder
location="classpath:properties/dataSource.properties" />
<!-- establish couch db connection -->
<couchbase:couchbase bucket="${couch.dbName}" password="" host="${couch.host}" />
<couchbase:template/>
<couchbase:repositories base-package="com.link.twitter.repository"/>
These are the dependencies I used in my POM
<!-- Spring data couchbase -->
<dependency>
<groupId>org.springframework.data</groupId>
<artifactId>spring-data-couchbase</artifactId>
<version>${spring.data.couchbase.version}</version>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>com.couchbase.client</groupId>
<artifactId>couchbase-client</artifactId>
<version>${couchbase.client.version}</version>
</dependency>
This is the exception Im getting when its deploying.
DEBUG CouchbaseConfigConnection:84 - Reconnecting due to failure to `connect to {QA sa=/127.0.0.1:11210, #Rops=0, #Wops=0, #iq=0, topRop=null,` topWop=null, toWrite=0, interested=0}

how can i fix this issue. Thanks in advance
CouchDB listen for requests on port 5984 by default - your request was sent to 127.0.0.1:11210 and gots rejected.
Change the value of the config param bind_address to 11210
Couchbase and CouchDB are two different products. Your trying to use the Couchbase java client against Couchbase and that will not work. See the http://www.couchbase.com/couchbase-vs-couchdb for more information on the difference between the two products.

How should i fix this error?.
I had similar problem. The problem gone after reboot. Try to reboot PC and start activemq first.
Probably it related that some ports were already taken.
My hostname which is localhost did not contain any underscores.The only underscore was in my computer name.My old name was computer_1 but i changed it to computer1 and now i am able to use localhost:8161 activemq web console.
To know how to change the computer name when on windows,do google it or refer to windows documentation.This error has nothing to do with hostname proper but rather the computer name.
Check your "activemq.log" in your "data" folder, in my case I obtain this error because I was using a "redeliveryPlugin" and it requires a schedulerSupport="true" in broker definition.
