I am using CXF (cxf-rt-frontend-jaxws, version 3.0.1) to create a web service client from a wsdl url like so:
JaxWsProxyFactoryBean factory = new JaxWsProxyFactoryBean();
factory.setAddress(url.toString());
factory.setServiceClass(MyServicePort.class);
Object service = factory.create();
However, the call to factory.create() throws a NullPointerException with the following stack trace:
[main] INFO org.apache.cxf.wsdl.service.factory.ReflectionServiceFactoryBean - Creating Service {http://interfaces.project.domain.com/webservice}MyServicePortService from class com.domain.project.webservice.MyServicePort

The url that I pass to setAddress is of the form: http://host:port/path/to/service?wsdl. I have verified that it is up by doing a curl against that url and getting what I would expect in return.
From inspecting the code on grepcode, it would appear that the exception comes from a null WSDLManager returned from:
bs.getExtension(WSDLManager.class);
... the code for which, I believe is here. And that's where my ability to debug this breaks down.
Any ideas what could be causing CXF to throw the NullPointerException?

I am also using Jackson 2.7.0 with it but i keep on getting exception.
I have tested my webservice using Chrome PostMan it works perfectly.

I'm doing a java web app with a servlet and I wanted to write some tests to check its functionality (ex. authorization form). I hadn't been using any framework, just bare java in eclipse with tomcat 7.0
I've run into an error while trying to test authorization input. The app would check the login-password pair and then redirect using RequestDispatcher.forward() or RequestDispatcher.include() methods. But when executing them it throws an error with the following stack trace:

The first block represents an invocation error caught by central controller (Dispatcher) servlet while invoking method in which an AbstractMethodError had been thrown. The second and third ones are about that error.
The code of the test method is as follows:
#Test
public void testAuthIncorrectInput_Long() throws Exception {
WebRequest request = new PostMethodWebRequest("http://localhost:8080/CenralReportDL/Dispatcher?query=auth");
String longString = new String();
for (int i = 0; i < 52; i++) {
longString += "aA_ba";
}
request.setParameter("username", longString);
request.setParameter("password", longString);
WebResponse response = client.getResponse(request);
assertNotNull("No response received", response);
}
How can I get rid of this error? Is there a workaround? Should I maybe use some other means of servlet testing?
Also please do not suggest framework-specific testing utils such as strutstest, I want an actual solution for bare java web application.
UPDATE: In response to #JekinKalariya - I had a JasperException before. It complained about files not being in /WEB-INF folder, but due to my project structure they all were in /WebContent/WEB-INF. I was so frustrated because of that I just copied entire folder. Silly thing to do. I deleted it and now I'm back to that JasperException.
UPDATE: Now, I've done some research and found some answers on this issue. Didn't work for me though. I also found a suggestion to change a target runtime to J2EE Preview, which raised a different kind of exception:
com.meterware.httpunit.HttpNotFoundException: Error on HTTP request: 404 java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.jasper.servlet.JspServlet [http://localhost/WEB-INF/jsp/auth.jsp]

The above error logs only happen in production server and I have no success in replicating on my local machine and dev server.
Any ideas?
I answered that question once here: Grails Mail service not working with guartz scheduler in war mode
It's the AsyncMail unable to get the server's URL. The simplest thing is to configure it via the grails.serverURL config property.
My CF9 application running on a windows server pops mail. When I attempt to retrieve the entire body of the message, I sometimes get the following error...
Error:
An exception occurred while retrieving mail.
The cause of this exception was: java.lang.ClassCastException: javax.mail.internet.MimeMessage cannot be cast to javax.mail.internet.MimeBodyPart.
Location:
Line 335 in controllers\Submissions.cfc
Not sure if this is pertinent, but FYI every message will have an image attached and the whole process usually works fine. This problem is intermittent.
My Questions
Any idea what causes this?
Any idea how to catch and resolve this issue?
I suspect I'll need to drop down into java, but not sure where to start.
Code Fragments
<cfscript>
// setup variables array for all cfpop calls
CFPopAttributes = {
server = request.pop.server,
port = request.pop.port,
username = request.pop.username,
password = request.pop.password,
timeout = 300
};
</cfscript>
<cfpop
action="getall"
name="entireEmail"
uid="#uid#"
attachmentpath="#originalsPath#"
attributecollection="#CFPopAttributes#" // Line 335
generateuniquefilenames="true"
/>
NOTE: I added the comment "Line 335" above to communicate exactly where in the code the template is breaking. If I move the attributecollection up or down (before/after other attributes), the error always breaks at the attributecollection line.

BAD_OPERATION expception happens when you try to call a method that dosen't exist in the servant. I think you cast (instead of narrow) the remote object wrong. Maybe it's is relative to your previous question
