Why Eclipse Java Editor doesn't work? - java

In my Eclipse, all the java files will be rightly showed in package explore,but when i try to open a java file in Java Editor, I will see nothing but this.
And it is so strange that i can do format code or show outline . I try to open this file with Text editor, and it works well.
I try to find something useful in eclipse log file.After eclipse start up, the log file contains no errors and exceptions.After I open two java file and click the outlines, eclipse will collect an exception.There are two snippets in log file:

Can't use Tomcat server in Eclipse

I have installed Tomcat v8.0.35 and I have configured it following these steps (here). I have checked it and it's working fine: I went to localhost:(myport) and got this
Now I installed Eclipse Mars2 Enterprise Edition, New->Dynamic Web Project, I had no target runtime so New Runtime->Tomcat v8->gave the installation folder->finish. Now the project has been created but when I click the server tab, it doesnt show tomcat. I get this message "No servers available. Click this link to create a server" but I can't create a server using tomcat8.
The server is on when I create my eclipse project
I don't know exactly how to show the file so I will just ctrl+c, ctrl+v (sorry in advance).

I had same problem with eclipse JUNO
download binaries of tomcat 8
steps to integrate with eclipse
1 .Go to window>preferences>Server>runtime envirnoment>add(browse where your extracted tomcat binary is) click finish
Go to windows>show view>server
click on add new server >Apache>Server version and just navigate clicking ok and finish
You'll have your server ready
Because sometime eclipse dosen't accepts new server from server tab directly

To add Server to project in eclipse do this steps:
1- After creating your web app
2- Right click on your project then press properties .
3- Then move Java build path
4-Then move the libraries tab
5- Press Add Library button
6- From the pop up select server runtime
7- select tomcat path.
8- You must see it now
check and replay if it now working , we can make another work arounds

your server is not properly configured. click on this link to create new server. remove all configured server and add new tomcat server.
or,
Restarting the Eclipse IDE solved the problem. or just go to ....metadata.plugins\org.eclipse.e4.workbench // folder locaiton. and deleted all the content of workbench.xmi and restarted the application. hopefully will work for you.

Eclipse Mars: Unhandled event loop exception in OCaml

I am using Eclipse for programming in Java and OCaml. I have just installed OCaml in Eclipse and it worked for like 5 minutes and then I get "Unhandled event loop exception" error. I searched a lot of forums and looked for answers but I can't solve this problem. Java is working correctly, but OCaml not. I tried to modify the plugins, the SWT, I closed all the nVidia tasks but none of these solutions worked for me. Does somebody know what to do?

I recently installed JVM monitor to Eclipse Luna. Although the monitoring seems successfully started, nothing is shown in 'property' view. How can I see the result of monitoring?

Java Build Path contains invalid values

Clicking On the Java Build path gives the following error:

I have Eclipse Luna installed on Windows 7. The JDK 7 is installed in C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_67
Window > Preferences > Java > Installed JREs gives the following error -
This is related to this issue - No compiler is provided in this environment. Perhaps you are running on a JRE rather than a JDK?

I am developing an eclipse plugin which opens up a Dialog, with 4 tabs and some heavy content like images, text and buttons attached with event listeners,
on click of a custom menu item. Everything behaves fine when i click on the custom menu item for first time. When i close the Dialog and try to open it by
