error 503 localhost google datastore - java

So I am a total novice when it comes to datastore and cloud interaction, and I am trying to figure out the basics of datastore through the google bookshelf tutorial. I have the free trial running for 60 days and just want to wrap my head around how it works.
So in the setup I reached this portion of the tutorial (screenshot of google site) (this is the url: https://cloud.google.com/java/getting-started/using-forms) and I seem to be doing okay. I ran the code it asks for and seem to have started a jetty server in my terminal. It reads:

So the next step is to go to localhost8080 in my browser but when I get there I get an HTTP 503 Error that reads:
Problem accessing /. Reason:
Service Unavailable
I can't seem to find a solution to this anywhere, so I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight into what I should do. Thanks!

After deploy Google App Engine returns HTTP response code 403

I've done another deploys and all was fine, but after finishing the app, I'm getting this error. And the page request keeps loading.
Do I need to configure something in "IAM"?

I've got new data using Stackdriver debug.

Just a note if somebody else stumbles across this error: I had the same message in Google's App Engine dashboard popping up up to 60 times in a couple of minutes.
Enabling the Stackdriver Debugging API, as linked above, solved it. No more error logs (of that kind) were being produced. The weired thing is that the Stackdriver Debugging API should have been turned on by default for my standard environment.
The log wasn't very informative.
I change the application port from 8000 to 8080.
application.properties:
server.port=${PORT:8080}
Now the app is running fine.

HTTP Status 404 - /ssssnpm//promotional.jsp error

Whenever I connect to my broadband internet, it shows this message -
"HTTP Status 404 - /ssssnpm//promotional.jsp"

I searched a lot about this issue but couldn't find it. Everyone is talking about Tomcat or Apache servers. I don't use any IDE. I am not a programmer, so I didn't write any codes. I am just not able to open any web page. Whenever I enter any URL, it redirects me to another URL, which seems to be an IP address. And, that page shows this error message (wrote above).
I suspect that it could be because of an antivirus I installed a couple of days ago on my laptop and my phone as well. But, it's showing the same error to my brother's phone on which this antivirus isn't installed.
other internet connections are working fine on my laptop - like my mobile internet.
Please help in resolving this issue.
The issue is resolved now. It was some server error as it was unable to load a file something "promotional.jsp"
The message Apache Tomcat/7.0.75 was a bit confusing to me. So, posted a question here.

Neo4j Server fails to start embedded database

I've created a neo4j database embedded into my java application. Creating nodes, relationships, properties and querying all of them looks fine, but now I want to visualize the database just to check if everything is okay. So I tried to load the test.db inside my neo4j-Server edition (running on the same machine), but however I get all the time the following error:
Starting Neo4j Server failed: Error starting org.neo4j.kernel.EmbeddedGraphDatabase, C:\Users\user\workspace\neo4j_emb_test\target\test.db
Don't know what's going wrong here. Does anybody has suggestions?

You cannot run two embedded instances against the same Neo4j database at the same time, you need to run Neo4j in stand-alone mode for that. Then you only have access to the REST API provided, and not the Java API.

Glassfish - Application name is already in use

I’ve come to an hold with my programing because I’m getting an error from glassfish. I’m using NetBeans IDE 7.3 for this project. And I’ve built a simple program which runs over the web(jsp file etc). But I keep on getting the weirdest error display from glassfish. I’ve searched the internet for my solution and found people posting similar things, but I never seem actually manage to fix it because I don’t really understand the post which I’ve read.
So what is the error that I get at startup? First time I run it I get this from the Output

The actually name of the project is ÄrendeWebApplication and sure it’s a weird name for some people.
Well anyhow I tried to run the application again just to make sure it’s not something spooky going on, and I got a totally different error message.

Alright so this is the weirdest part since it’s complaining that the name of my application is already in use? So I thought first it could perhaps be something with the database, but went to see the “Java DB Database Process” and it seemed fine, will post it too just in case

So the database is not the problem “I Believe” so I went later to check on the Glassfish server 3.1.2 and I found some warning messages which read

And here is where I’ve tried different things, well I thought it first complained about the name, it’s alredy in use right…. So I deleted the application and moved it to another place on my hard drive and well, I wouldn’t be posting this if it worked. Then I started considering that perhaps the database was something wrong with, I went to the console admin in glassfish to check the connection and the Ping and showed me that it worked as it should. Also perhaps important information is that I’ve connected glassfish through MySQL, but I hardly believe that this is the problem. I then stumbled across someone saying that you could force “redeploy via Eclipse” well first problem here is that I’m not using Esclipse and second problem is I’ve searched A LOT to find if there is a “Force redeploy in NetBeans” and that is not the easiest task in life. So I believe this is perhaps my last stop hopefully and maybe someone here could help me out.
here are some steps you can try:
Fix your projects name :3
If your problem is the one the question title suggests, undeploy your application first, then redeploy. You can easily undeploy and force redeploy in the Glassfish Admin Gui (http://localhost:4848).
If your application still does not work, update your question with proper formatted log messages of the actual problem.

Google App Engine instance crashing with ErrorCode 121

My GAE app suddenly stopped working last friday. I tried several times to start an instance in background, (both using cron and manually) but after a minute since the instance starts I get this error:

I don't know what to do since this error code is undocumented. I also tried to redeploy but no luck. Are you experiencing the same problem and have you maybe found a solution?
I don't think it matters but the app is developed in Java using Eclipse.
The app is in production so I really need to solve this issue as quickly as I can.

It seems your App Engine scheduler got problem. Try this, Removing the automatic settings from Performance settings which seeems to help. Google Groups
