JUnit cannot find ApplicationContext

JUnit cannot find ApplicationContext - java

So was using a tutorial here https://hop2croft.wordpress.com/2011/07/06/jpa-basic-example-with-entitymanager-spring-and-maven/ and I keep getting an error when I run as a JUnit test saying it can't find application context. The test class:
#RunWith(SpringJUnit4ClassRunner.class)
#ContextConfiguration("/testApplicationContext.xml")
public class CarTest {
is this and I tried putting the testapplicationcontext.xml in like every folder so far. It used to be
#ContextConfiguration(locations={"/testApplicationContext.xml"}) but I thought if I change it, it might fix it.
Any suggestions?
Its currently in a new folder I had to make, srcs/test/resources. I created this project from scratch in eclipse with STS.
Edit: At the end of the chain I followed in the console I got
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.hibernate.ejb.HibernatePersistence

Jenkins installed version of Sonar

I have resolved this issue, using given below steps.
1. Shutdown Jenkins and Sonar
2. .m2/repository directory removed under users/buildadmin (as libraries are corrupted)
3. Start Jenkins and Sonar
4. Libraries are loaded successfully upon running pipelines and builds were successful from respective stream.

After reading a lot similiar problems, I also made sure that there are no libs from logback or common-logging (I tried to use those before) in the lib-folder of the wildfly Application server I am using.
What a I not seeing?

The problem is that any of the libraries you use in your project relies in a diferent slf4j version that the one you provide.

It mainly caused by the different versions of SLF4j introduced by you in the project lib folder. If you are using Maven check your pom.xml , if you introduce more than one SLF4j.

I am trying to create and compile a project using Spring Roo 1.2.4...

Any Idea?

I resolved it after config "spring roo release repository" in my nexus without having successfully.... I resolved it cleaning my user maven repository... and forcing maven to update... as It did't download the JAR file, I placed it where it should go... and it's working

In case you haven't already done it, try updating the project with regard to Maven.
In Eclipse Kepler, right-click on the project, then Maven > Update Project... and then make sure your project is checked under Available Maven Codebases, and that Update project configuration from pom.xml is checked, then select OK.
For older versions of Eclipse, you just right-click on the project, then Maven, and then I believe Update project configuration.
Each of these should signal to Eclipse that the pom.xml has been updated, and that it needs to be reexamined and to download any dependencies.

JBoss - like any modern EJB container - comes with JPA "out of the box", so you must not attempt to deploy any related .jars in your {war,ear}. Just make sure your dependencies for all Hibernate stuff are declared with <scope>provided</scope> - this should cure your problem.

I'm following the Hibernate Validator documentation on how to validate a method but I can't find the ExecutableValidator interface. This import is not recognized
