hibernate throwing multiple errors at a time - java

I am a newbie in hibernate and I was trying to implement an application which could create a table on its own using hbm2ddl mapping but my Java application is throwing multiple errors at once.
//Main Class
import org.hibernate.Session;
import org.hibernate.SessionFactory;
import org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration;
public class MainClass {
public static void main(String[] args) {
// TODO Auto-generated method stub
try{
Teacher teacher=new Teacher();
teacher.setName("abc");
SessionFactory sessionFactory=new Configuration().configure("hibernate.cfg.xml").buildSessionFactory();
Session session=sessionFactory.openSession();
session.beginTransaction();
session.save(teacher);
session.getTransaction().commit();
}catch(Exception ex){
}
}
}
//POJO Class
import javax.persistence.*;
#Entity
#Table(name="xyz")
public class Teacher {
#Id
#Column(name="name")
String name;
#Column(name="subject1")
String Subject1;
#Column(name="subject2")
String Subject2;
#Column(name="subject3")
String Subject3;
public String getName() {
return name;
}
public void setName(String name) {
this.name = name;
}
public String getSubject1() {
return Subject1;
}
public void setSubject1(String subject1) {
Subject1 = subject1;
}
public String getSubject2() {
return Subject2;
}
public void setSubject2(String subject2) {
Subject2 = subject2;
}
public String getSubject3() {
return Subject3;
}
public void setSubject3(String subject3) {
Subject3 = subject3;
}
}
//hibernate.cfg.xml(I tried using hbm2dll.auto instead of hibernate.hbm2dll.auto but that also didn't work)
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE hibernate-configuration SYSTEM
"http://www.hibernate.org/dtd/hibernate-configuration-3.0.dtd">

I've just started learning Hibernate, and attempted the example at https://www.javatpoint.com/example-to-create-hibernate-application-in-eclipse-ide , with slight modifications. I received a huge error log -

The mysql-connector-java-5.1.48-bin.jar file has been added to the classpath. So have all the other jars specified in the example I'm attempting.
Please let me know what the problem is.
It turned out the solution was there on StackOverflow, albeit under a different heading:
Invalid syntax error "type= MyISAM" in DDL generated by Hibernate
Long story short, change the dialect in hibernate.cfg.xml to org.hibernate.dialect.MySQL5Dialect and things will run fine.

According to MySQL 5.5.45+, 5.6.26+ and 5.7.6+ requirements SSL connection must be established by default if explicit option isn't set. For compliance with existing applications not using SSL the verifyServerCertificate property is set to 'false'. You need either to explicitly disable SSL by setting useSSL=false, or set useSSL=true and provide truststore for server certificate verification.

My analysis so far
To debug into the issue, I have set SHOW_SQL property in the hibernate.cfg.xml to true so that I could log the SQL statement that the program is trying to generate and connect.
To my observation, though I have not mentioned type=MyISAM in my data base connection string jdbc:mysql://127.0.0.1:3306/schoolsaasdb
hibernate tries to append it to the connection string.
create table UserDetails (userId integer not null, userName varchar(100) not null, primary key (userId)) type=MyISAM
when I try to copy the SQL statement and paste in the MySQL command prompt, I get the error as well.
How do I remove the type=MyISAM from the connection string ?
hibernate.cfg.xml is below
<hibernate-configuration>
<session-factory>
<!-- Database connection settings -->
<property name="connection.driver_class">com.mysql.jdbc.Driver</property>

Cannot connect to Informix using Hibernate

I'm trying to connect to Informix database using Hibernate 5.2.10, but the program doesn't respond and gets stuck without throwing any error message.
I can't find anything from the console . Any suggest on what mistake I made? I'm new to Hibernate

I did a quick test with 5.2 and the latest jdbc driver and it appears to work fine for me. I'm using your HiberanateUtil and a similar Hibernate config file:

As yours, 'last' INFO message is "Connection obtained from JdbcConnectionAccess" , but after that I'm also getting the nosuchmethod exception. I have to press control+c to get out.
Maybe your exceptions are been sent somewhere else ;)
EDIT
This is the code I'm using to test it directly from the console, should be everything you need to run it.

Hibernate, data is not inserting into table

I'm a newbie to hibernate. I'm trying to insert data into table. It's only creating the tables but not inserting the data into table. I'm not sure where I'm doing wrong.

Change
#GeneratedValue(strategy = GenerationType.AUTO)
To
#GeneratedValue(strategy = GenerationType.IDENTITY)
I am not sure , but it will work I think.
Edit
AUTO Indicates that the persistence provider should pick an
appropriate strategy for the particular database.
IDENTITY Indicates that the persistence provider must assign primary
keys for the entity using database identity column.
SEQUENCE Indicates that the persistence provider must assign primary
keys for the entity using database sequence column.
TABLE Indicates that the persistence provider must assign primary keys
for the entity using an underlying database table to ensure
uniqueness. Refer to the API here
http://docs.oracle.com/javaee/5/api/javax/persistence/GenerationType.html

Eclipse Project
PostgreSQL Database
Hibernate is trying to create entity in hibernatedemo schema. You need to create that schema in database. I did not see your configuration that is pointing to hibernatedemo schema. The cfg.xml is generated by MyEclipse Hibernate tools. Check that configuratioon.
How to create schema in PostGreSQL Link
CREATE SCHEMA IF NOT EXISTS schema_name
After creating schema try again to start your application
You can simply add that tag to your config xml file
<property name="hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto">update</property>
