How to solve BeanDefinitionStoreException caused by FileNotFoundException in SPRING? - java

I'm trying out an activity which calls a method draw() in Triangle bean using SPRING. However, when I try to access the spring.xml file I came across with an error.
The Error is :

Here is main which is the SpringApplication.java :
package org.spring.application;
import org.springframework.context.support.AbstractApplicationContext;
import org.springframework.context.support.ClassPathXmlApplicationContext;
public class SpringApplication
{
public static void main(String[] args)
{
AbstractApplicationContext context = new ClassPathXmlApplicationContext("spring.xml");
Triangle triangle = (Triangle) context.getBean("Triangle");
triangle.draw();
}
}
Here are the code in the spring.xml
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE beans PUBLIC "-//SPRING//DTD BEAN//EN" "http://www.springframework.org/dtd/spring-beans.dtd">
<beans>
<bean id="Triangle" class="org.spring.application.Triangle"/>
</beans>
And here is the Project Folder:

I'm using NetBeans IDE. I also included the Spring Library and Components Logging.
Can someone help me and point out if I'm doing something wrong. Thank you.

You need to add the package. new ClassPathXmlApplicationContext("spring.xml"); should be new ClassPathXmlApplicationContext("org/spring/application/spring.xml");

You should place your spring.xml in the resource folder.
Use the following structure:

Component annotation not working in spring boot

I am working on a simple spring project which has following code:

ClassPathXmlApplicationContext context = new ClassPathXmlApplicationContext("applicationContext.xml");

System.out.println(theCoach.getDailyWorkout());
context.close();
}
}
ApplicationContext.xml:

}
I am not able to figure out why the error is occurring.

I am using spring version 5 and I have added all the JAR files in the lib folder:
The applicationContext.xml file is present at the correct hierarchy, that is, there are no file location error
I am able to use XML based handling but not component annotations.
What is the problem here?
Kindly comment if other information is needed
You're missing spring-aop-5.3.9.jar. That's where the class that's reported missing (org.springframework.aop.TargetSource) is from, but you only have the sources and javadoc JAR files for spring-aop, not the JAR file with the actual classes.

Like the error message says, Beans.xml is not found in your classpath (in the given path, i.e. root). If you have placed the file next to the Java classes in com/hello, then use the path com/hello/Beans.xml in your main method.

How to load "context.xml" from classpath in Java?

I am trying to load my spring context.xml file using Java from the classpath. My context.xml file is in src/main/resources.
public static void main(String[] args) {
ClassPathXmlApplicationContext context = null;
try {
context = new ClassPathXmlApplicationContext("classpath:context.xml");
context.registerShutdownHook();
} catch (Exception ex) {
ex.printStackTrace();
} finally {
if (context != null) {
context.close();
}
}
}
Above code works fine when I am running in my eclipse. But as soon as I package it into a runnable jar by right clicking the project and select export as a runnable jar and then run the jar from a ubuntu machine as -
java -jar test.jar
Then I am getting below exception -

Is there anything I am missing?
You probably didn't include the resources in src/main/resources in your jar. I don't believe the Maven plugin is involved in Eclipse's Jar Export utility.

I can't run my first Spring application, Hello World? I have added all the jars

I am having problem trying to run my first spring application that displays Hello world at my console. I am getting this error.

I have create the Beans.xml file in the exact package by right clicking and adding android .xml file.
Here is the java class:
package come.tutorialspoint;
public class HelloWorld {
private String message;
public void setMessage(String message){
this.message = message;
}
public void getMessage(){
System.out.println("Your Message : " + message);

Here is the Main class:
public class MainApp {
public static void main(String[] args) {
ApplicationContext context = new ClassPathXmlApplicationContext("Beans.xml");
HelloWorld obj = (HelloWorld) context.getBean("helloWorld");
obj.getMessage();
}
}
Based on one of your last comments to the question, your Beans.xml is in the wrong location. Options:
Move Beans.xml to "src/main/resources/Beans.xml"
or
Move Beans.xml to "src/main/java/Beans.xml"
or
Change ClassPathXmlApplicationContext("Beans.xml") to ClassPathXmlApplicationContext("come/tutorialspoint/Beans.xml");
The first option is the preferred option per Java/Maven conventions.
Your error is that ClassPathXmlApplicationContext expects a classpath location, and that includes any package information. Your Beans.xml is currently sitting in the package "come.tutorialspoint";
For more info:
Spring 3 Documentation - Application contexts and Resource paths
Spring cannot find bean xml configuration file when it does exist
Keep you Bean.xml in same package of your Java files and instead Of using:
ClassPathXmlApplicationContext("Beans.xml")
Use:
ClassPathXmlApplicationContext("come/tutorialspoint/Beans.xml");

validation.xml is not a Spring config file, you shouldn't try to load it with Spring.
