Exception running application Main
I really don't know what I could be doing wrong, since my FXML file is inside of my resources folder, and my Main.class is inside of my java package. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the project being a maven project, but I'm not sure what it could be. Please help me figure this out, I've looked online for solutions already and no one seems to do maven+fxml projects.
Try "/Form.fxml". See the Java Class API.
What Jonathan Rosenne says is essentially true, if you try getResource("/Form.fxml"), it should work. This is because Class.getResource uses a package-relative path, not an absolute path. The code that you have right now would work if Form.fxml was in located at resources/<packages>/Form.fxml, for example.
Another option is to use getClass().getClassLoader().getResource, which always assumes an absolute path.
There's already a StackOverflow thread about the differences between these two methods.
Try below:
URL formUrl = Main.class.getClassLoader().getResource("Form.fxml");
Parent root = FXMLLoader.load(formUrl );

Seems like it doesn't see the fxml file. I have done research on many similar questions here and there, but none of them helped. I tried multiple paths or moving fxml to main class etc.
Might be some problem with IDE configuration, i don't know what else can i do to make it work.
Im working with IntelliJ Idea Java 1.8(so JavaFX is automatically added). What may be important is the project was created as Empty Project not a JavaFX Project. I tried running another project as JavaFX project and it worked fine.

Just make sure to put the fxml file into the src/main/resources/ directory of your project.
Also make sure that src/main/resources is marked as the resource root in intelij
Right click on folder -> Mark directory as -> "Resource Root"

I'm trying to do a graphic interface for an university activity using Scene builder. I need to switch the window when pressed the button so I created a function that changes the window when the button is pressed and included this action on the button by SceneBuilder and it worked, but when I tried to do the same thing for a button on the new window I got this error:

I'm working on Intelij so I moved FXML and Controller to resources but it not helped me too. I also read some responses on similar questions but they not helped me. I also trying to use FXML Loader, not Parent root. I dont understand too why in Intelij source to Controller is ok, but in teh end of error we can see its not found. I was trying to find the solution all day and nothin.

The file it is loading is C:/Users/Kowali/Desktop/Projekt0-2/Projekt/target/classes/Main.fxml. It may be an old file. I suggest you delete that file, do Project -> Rebuild project in IntelliJ, and try running it again.
Also, you claim that your code is
Parent root = FXMLLoader.load(getClass().getResource("gui/Main.fxml"));
but this is not consistent with the error message. So either you didn't save your .java file (but that's probably not the case since you're using IntelliJ, which saves files automatically), or this isn't the version of the code that matches the error message.
I'm working on a mp3 player which is using a JavaFX UI. When I start the application in NetBeans, it works fine. But when I create an executable jar with Clean and Build and start it with the cmd, I get an exception where the FXMLLoader loads the fxml file.
There must be a problem with the paths, right?

Exception running application jornsfx.JornsFX
I can't tell you for certain, but it looks like
getClass().getResource("/views/jornsFX.fxml")
in your start() method is null. The exception suggests it and also the file is named /views/JornsFX.fxml in the screenshot.
I have a working JavaFX application, which runs in Intellij. However, i'm trying to run the application as a Jar file, but I get a NullPointerException saying the location is required.
I've looked at every thread regarding this issue, but none of the solutions seem to work.
