I am working on Android Application using the Fire base Database. All the data stored perfectly on the Fire base.
The Problem comes when I make some changes and close the Application by Forcing android Studio to be Shut Down.
Now When I open Android to built Project It Gives Error of Stream output Folder as Null.
I have searched on Stack Overflow and find an answer with my Error Resemblance but I didn't understand the Answer completely.

This problem is just Resolved by Deleting the .Gradle File in the Project Folder.
After .gradle File Deletion;
Built and Clean the Project.

So I am assuming I have differing versions of dependencies causing this issue but i cant seem to resolve it.
When I add the dependency: implementation 'com.google.android.gms:play-services-vision:18.0.0' Then I get an error Syncing my build gradle.
When I change the version to implementation 'com.google.android.gms:play-services-vision:15.0.0' Then It Syncs fine but my app keeps crashing as soon as I open it.
Please can someone help me sync my versions so my app doesnt crash.

After some research I actually found out that Google stopped updating com.google.android.gms:play-services after 12.0.1. I changed the versions as well as my Firebase versions. Everthing Synced with no errors and seems to be running fine now.
first go to file and sync project with gradle file.. if it repeat itself, then go to file and invalidate caches/Restart it has work for me alot of time and also try and replace minSdkVersion 15 to minSdkVersion 21 and also with the look of it your firebase dependence are old check out https://firebase.google.com/docs/android/setup or google firebase dependencies
also make sure you add allprojects

It's an old Eclipse project now being migrated to Android studio. I'm getting one error: illegal forward reference error in one particular class. It actually not showing any red error indicator line at the error line suggested by Android Studio IDE. The weird thing is I tried to comment out the method in which is showing illegal forward reference error but even after commenting the Android studio points me to the same line number where it was showed as error previously.
I don't know whether it is Java compiler error or Android Studio IDE error.

Put this jid3lib-0.5.1.jar jar file in your lib folder. Gradle doesn't find this file in your lib folder Location.
Iam new in developing android library.Recently there was a requirement to integrate some part of my app to other client app. For that, I have uploaded an aar format library through sonatype to maven repository.
But the problem arises when i integrate this library to other app.I have encountered some error like-:
Error:Error converting bytecode to dex:
Cause: com.android.dex.DexException: Multiple dex files define Lcom/android/volley/Response$ErrorListener;
and many more like that.
The problem which I think so far is coming from the multiple dependencies defined in both app and library.
Is there anything which iam doing wrong in my library and how can we remove the duplicate library from the app.
I have tried many options like "multidex enable true and preDexLibraries = false" option but none of that attribute work.
Any help is appreciated.

In your library AndroidManifest.xml remove everything from Application tag:
<application/>
when you import the library in application, all dependencies you import in the library will be imported in the application so remove the any library you imported in library before in application gradle file
if there is a problem with merging the AndroidManifest.xml you can see the error in the Merged Manifest tab in the bottom left corner

I did follow all the steps, but there are several words Android Studio cannot resolve by itself and I do not find any solution. The main problem seems to be org.chromium .
In bold the words it can't resolve :
in TwaSessionHelper.java :

Android Studio cannot resolve ServiceConnectionCallback class because a com.android.support:customtabs library does not contain/provide it. This class exists only in this GitHub repository and no any maven repository. So you not able to add a dependency on it in your build.gradle file, you have to download it and add it in your project manually.
From this GitHub repository download only shared directory, add it in your project as a module.
In your application build.gradle file add a dependency on the shared module.

Yes, I'm using Android Studio's latest version and according to Rob, I should prefer the old one. But the thing is that I was haunted
by a lot of technical issues in that version (a lot of them included
stuff which is now outdated).
I've read almost every solution to this problem on Stack Overflow, Github. All of them are either asking to use implementation() instead
of compile (which I'm already using), or they're asking to check if
the Gradle version is 3.0+.
I've tried changing all the "implementation" to "compile" on suggestion of one user on Stackoverflow.
