Cannot specify -processorpath or --processor-path via `CompileOptions.compilerArgs` - java

I am trying to link my app with firebase messaging services it compiled with this warning:
INFO: API 'variant.getJavaCompile()' is obsolete and has been replaced with 'variant.getJavaCompileProvider()'.
It will be removed at the end of 2019.
For more information, see https://d.android.com/r/tools/task-configuration-avoidance.
To determine what is calling variant.getJavaCompile(), use -Pandroid.debug.obsoleteApi=true on the command line to display more information.
Affected Modules: app
When I run the I get the following error:
*Cannot specify -processorpath or --processor-path via `CompileOptions.compilerArgs`. Use the `CompileOptions.annotationProcessorPath` property instead.*

I solved my problem with following setps below:
1- Remove android-apt plugin by deleting the line below:
apply plugin: 'android-apt'
2- Change apt to implementation
So apt 'net.simonvt.schematic:schematic-compiler:0.6.3'
become implementation 'net.simonvt.schematic:schematic-compiler:0.6.3'
Then the app crashes after implementing the 2 steps above:
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Didn't find class "android.example.com.myProject.provider.generated........Provider"
3- I fixed this error with adding this code in app gradle file:
android {
.........
..........
defaultConfig {
javaCompileOptions {
annotationProcessorOptions {
includeCompileClasspath true
}
}
}
.....
....
}

I get this error when trying to sync my android studio project after adding the lines required in a firebase project.
Just that, it's a common android studio project in which i just want to apply a firebase database. Please, if anyone knows what could be happening?
Thanks.
PD: I already searched this error on other stackoverflow questions, but none of the answers worked for me :(

Update:
Hey! I solved it by just updating my android studio version to a newer one.
But no, i don't know how to solve it without doing that

Android Studio gives me BuildConfig Error

If i tap the Debug Icon, Android Studio sometimes automatically creates new BuildConfig files and then complains that it should be only one named Buildconfig.java...
A Clean Project fixes it but it is so annoying that there must be a reliable solution.
Thanks in advance

I had the same problem in a Kotlin project here, the solution was to add implementation 'androidx.fragment:fragment-ktx:1.2.2' dependency to my module's build.gradle file.
I have solved the problems.
repositories {
maven { url 'https://plugins.gradle.org/m2/'}
}
dependencies {
classpath 'gradle.plugin.com.onesignal:onesignal-gradle-plugin:[0.12.4, 0.99.99]'
}
}
apply plugin: 'com.onesignal.androidsdk.onesignal-gradle-plugin'
repositories {
maven { url 'https://maven.google.com' }
}
just put these code on the top and sync it
For those who are using react-native version 0.60 or above one signal and intervase firebase module makes same problem. As #last gg post above,
buildscript {
repositories {
maven { url 'https://plugins.gradle.org/m2/' } // Gradle Plugin Portal
}
dependencies {
classpath 'gradle.plugin.com.onesignal:onesignal-gradle-plugin:[0.12.1, 0.99.99]'
}
}
apply plugin: 'com.onesignal.androidsdk.onesignal-gradle-plugin'
copy this very top of your android/app/build.gradle file. Then rebuild your android app.
This Worked For Me
//Add One Signal Plugin At the TOP before Google GSM Plugin
apply plugin: 'com.onesignal.androidsdk.onesignal-gradle-plugin'
apply plugin: 'com.android.application'
apply plugin: 'com.google.gms.google-services'

Since no one answered my question, I'll post this answer. Maybe it'll help someone who may face an issue like this. I solved this problem by updating Firebase libraries and
updating these two dependencies to the last version and it worked successfully .
//module:app

Switching Android module from library to application results in "Unable to resolve dependency for :app#debug/compileClasspath"/

I have an android app I want to import to my project as a module. The module syncs and compiles fine with apply plugin: 'com.android.application' However, there are classes from the module that I want to use in my project. To do this, it seems like I need to switch the gradle for the module to read apply plugin: 'com.android.library' as per this question. However, changing the module from an application to a library results in the following error log:
Unable to resolve dependency for ':app#debug/compileClasspath': Failed to transform file 'OCRTest-release.aar' to match attributes {artifactType=android-exploded-aar} using transform ExtractAarTransform
Unable to resolve dependency for ':app#debugAndroidTest/compileClasspath': Failed to transform file 'OCRTest-release.aar' to match attributes {artifactType=android-exploded-aar} using transform ExtractAarTransform
...
Unable to resolve dependency for ':app#releaseUnitTest/compileClasspath': Failed to transform file 'OCRTest-release.aar' to match attributes {artifactType=android-exploded-aar} using transform ExtractAarTransform
So far I have tried invalidating caches and restarting Android Studio, as that was a common suggestion. I have also seen it suggested to delete the .gradle file altogether. Is that safe to do? Also, the main thing I want to do is be able to use Java classes from the module in my app's activities. If there is a better way to go about doing this, let me know.
Here is the code for my .gradle files.
settings.gradle:
include ':app'
include ':OCRTest'
build.gradle(Project):
buildscript {

Remove the following line from build.gradle(Module:app):
implementation project(path: ':OCRTest', configuration: 'default')
Sync Gradle files.
Replace settings.gradle with this line:
include ':app', ':OCRTest'
Sync Gradle files again.
Now goto Project Structure>Add Module dependency and add module.
Hope this helps :)
