I can't import import org.springframework.data.rest.webmvc.config.RepositoryRestConfigurerAdapter after migration to spring-boot 2.6.7

I have an application that uses Spring Boot 2.0.2. After I migrated to spring-boot 2.6.7, I can't import org.springframework.data.rest.webmvc.config.RepositoryRestConfigurerAdapter.
According to the Documentation, this class is still in the new version of Spring Boot, and located in org.springframework.data.rest.webmvc.config.RepositoryRestConfigurerAdapter, but I can not import this class.
I use that class to configure the following bean:

I experienced the same issue, and the correct answer appears to be: RepositoryRestConfigurerAdapter has been deprecated and should be replaced with direct calls to RepositoryRestConfigurer.
Note my source for this information is the deprecation list for version 3.1 -- but I nonetheless applied this fix after updating to spring-boot 2.6.6 and it appears to have remedied the issue.

It should give me actual error stack why it's failed but it's not showing me , but if I remove spark-core I am able to see the complete error message and exact issue for the failure .
Any help why we are not getting full stack trace ?

The error you get seems related to SLF4J

spring boot not including RestController on .jar file

I'm trying to create a jar file from a spring boot project with maven in the netbeans ide. Running project through the ide with war file on tomcat server is working fine. But if i build the .jar file i'm getting this erro when trying to consume a method:

I have some more pom.xml files for other modules, If it would be required, i will share those files as well.
Sometime when i build project with dependencies it works, and sometime, it doesn't, I am unable to figure out the reason, why is it working sometime, if project has bugs?

There are two types of maven version
which you can figure out by command mvn --version
which is in pom.xml in plugin section
So by adding following code in my parent pom.xml : -

Previously i was using maven version 3.1.1, by updating maven version in pom.xml from 3.1.1 to 3.8.1, it fixed the issue.

Spring-boot: Getting IllegalArgumentException in Logback

My application has a monolithic (gateway, micro-services) architecture generated by Jhipster. The micro-services are running fine individually but when i am adding other dependencies related to my project, the services are giving a Logback IllegalArgumentException.
I tried excluding this from all my spring-boot-starter-* dependencies, still the same exception

Here is the exception occurring:
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: LoggerFactory is not

Either remove Logback or the competing implementation (class
org.slf4j.impl.Log4jLoggerFactory loaded from
file:/Users/tkma0hh/.m2/repository/org/slf4j/slf4j-
log4j12/1.7.25/slf4j-log4j12-1.7.25.jar). If you are using WebLogic
you will need to add 'org.slf4j' to prefer-application-packages in
WEB-INF/weblogic.xml: org.slf4j.impl.Log4jLoggerFactory
