Could not find com.android.tools.build:gradle:4.0.1. - android

I'm using Android Studio Dolphin | 2021.3. I want to get gradle 4.0.1 but I got this:
Could not find com.android.tools.build:gradle:4.0.1.

Error creating a new project on Android Studio (Bumblebee 2021.1.1 Patch 2)

when I try to create a new project on Android Studio (Bumblebee 2021.1.1 Patch 2), I get this error:
Here is my gradle-wrapper.properties:

Could anyone help me solve this problem? I am completely paralyzed due to this error and have tried all the other solutions found in StackOverflow and elsewhere, but all in vain.

Replace with above and set your project name as rootProject.name

Downgrade from 7.1.2 to 7.0.2 Helped me.

Could not resolve in adding HMS Huawei repos in gradle

im trying to integrate in HMS Huawei, in adding classpath im have error:
Could not resolve com.huawei.agconnect:agcp:1.6.0.300.

my gradle ver: 6.7.1 and gradle plugin ver: 4.1.3

Try this:
Go to File -> Project Settings -> Gradle and uncheck the Gradle offline work option.
Synchronize the project again and let all the dependencies get downloaded.

I have corrected settings.gradle like this:
dependencyResolutionManagement {
repositoriesMode.set(RepositoriesMode.FAIL_ON_PROJECT_REPOS)
repositories {

Android Studio Error "lint-gradle-api-26.1.2 not found

When I run my App, AS comes up with this error. Says that the file was not found at https://repo.jfrog.org/artifactory/libs-release-bintray/com/android/tools/lint/lint-gradle-api/26.1.2/lint-gradle-api-26.1.2.jar?referrer. Please help! Putting google() repo doesn't work.

I ran into this issue as well. Basically, the issue is that mentioned jar file is no longer in jcenter. I resolved by changing the order of search in our app build.gradle:

Gradle build failed to resolve library

I am working on android (Java) and trying to consume websockets so I thought I would use this tutorial and they are using dependency org.java-websocket:Java-WebSocket:1.3.0 from this repo which has now become 1.3.1.
So I have in my modular build.gradle
dependencies {
...
compile 'org.java-websocket:Java-WebSocket:1.3.1'
...
}
and in my project / top level build.gradle I have
repositories {
jcenter()
maven { url 'http://clojars.org/repo' }
}
and I am getting error
Error:(49, 13) Failed to resolve: org.java-websocket:Java-WebSocket:1.3.1

Try it with lowercase:
compile 'org.java-websocket:java-websocket:1.3.1'
It worked for me.

I was also facing same issue ,I restarted Android Studio and sync again,it build successfully.
