Could not initialize class com.liferay.portal.model.impl.GroupImpl

I am migrating liferay 6 to 7.4. Test case was previously written in 6 and now going to update the liferay dependency so after upgrade lib, I am facing issue that class clould not initialize . I have added all the required lib that are used in liferay 7.4

That is an impressive list of dependencies, and apparently quite a big plugin.
Let's start with this: My recommendation is to simplify this list. There are several dependencies in there, that used to be used in Liferay 6.x, but are no longer there/supported in 7.4 - for example lucene, jackrabbit, etc.
You should typically not be dependent on portal-impl at all. You seem to instantiate a GroupImpl object for your test - I'd recommend to create a mock/dummy at most: Your own tests typically don't want to use too much of the implementation of the underlying platform. And while portal-impl is part of the portal's implementation, it's not made available to client code. You'll only access the implementation indirectly through portal-kernel.
Also, with this migration, you should check first if your customization is still required, or if you can utilize some of the new built-in features. Best case, you can get rid of your custom code and rather rely on something that the platform provides, that you don't need to maintain any more.
What exactly goes wrong is hard to say without the code. But the code should be fairly minimal.

I build the package and deploy it on the server. When I do a servlet call I get the following exception:
Error 404: javax.servlet.UnavailableException: SRVE0203E: Servlet [giava]: org.springframework.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet was found, but is missing another required class. SRVE0206E: This error typically implies that the servlet was originally compiled with classes which cannot be located by the server.
My hypotesis is that there are new dependencies requirements, but which ones?

Probably missing some dependent JARs or you have compiled your classes with later JDK. You can also check Systemout, maybe there u will find what class is missing.

Found the mising dependencies. Searched through the poms of other projects this project was depending on and replaced all the springframework dependencies version from 3.0.3 to 3.1.4.

I met the same problem, Add the following dependency resolved this problem.
When you met javax/el/PropertyNotFoundException， That means you missed el-api dependency, you can add the following jar

An more I delete
servlet-api
jsp-api
jstl
el-api
jar files from tomcat/lib
And copy from m2./repository.

You maybe just need to add the dependency in your test. Are you using maven? if so, can you try to add this to your pom? You may need a different jar/version, but something like this:

Error Messages after updating Project Configuration via Maven

I'm developing a project using Maven. After a while i did "update Project Configuration" within my IDE (Springsource Tool Suite). Now my IDE is complaining, that there are some errors, that have not been here before.
The curious thing is, that the error messages seem to be wrong. In the below code it says, that I have to remove the #override Annotation, because a superclass has to be overriden (which i'm actually doing?)

PS: I got about 5 error messages in 3 different classes and all complain about the #Override Annotation.

Your current pom.xml is likely configuring your project for Java 5 (probably by default), where you are using Java 6's language semantics. If you configure everything to be for Java 6, you should be all set.
