Tried to start titan with the following code:

config.set("storage.backend", "embeddedcassandra");
config.set("storage.directory", DIRECTORY);

Trying to run it on Linux in Intellij - java.
This may be because you have not started Embedded Cassandra. Titan does not do that automatically for you I think. You can start embedded Cassandra with:
EmbeddedCassandraServerHelper.startEmbeddedCassandra();
for example. Or with
EmbeddedCassandraServerHelper.startEmbeddedCassandra("cassandra.yaml");
If you have a custom config to pass through.
Edit:
The above helper class is available by adding the following dependency to your project:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.cassandraunit</groupId>
<artifactId>cassandra-unit</artifactId>
<version>2.1.9.2</version>
</dependency>

I'm trying to use Apache Commons Crypto library. I'm using example code from apache official site for using Random API of this lib.
Here is the link to it - https://commons.apache.org/proper/commons-crypto/xref-test/org/apache/commons/crypto/examples/RandomExample.html
And I get this exception when using method getCryptoRandom.

How to solve this issue?
As far as I understand the proble is with loading openSSL engine or something like that:

I have an app that does some work and at the end it needs to read some file from hdfs and store it into hbase. The app runs when using master local with no issue using apache spark, but when I run it using spark-submit it doesn't work anymore,I get a fail.
The command line code is :
./bin/spark-submit --packages org.apache.spark:spark-avro_2.11:2.4.0 pathjar

Hope someone can explain me what's the probblem, thanks in advice.
java.lang.RuntimeException: Could not create interface org.apache.hadoop.hbase.zookeeper.MetricsZooKeeperSource Is the hadoop compatibility jar on the classpath
Its clear indication of version mismatch of hadoop jar files.
it is working in local from your ide since you have the appropriate jar in your classpath.
where as cluster or client modes of spark-submit it doesnt.
package all your application dependencies in a single jar which are in your local(since it works) and do a spark-submit
How to Debug : you can print all jars in local like this in
scala
def urlsinclasspath(cl: ClassLoader): Array[java.net.URL] = cl match {
case null => Array()
case u: java.net.URLClassLoader => u.getURLs() ++ urlses(cl.getParent)
case _ => urlsinclasspath(cl.getParent)
}
val urls = urlsinclasspath(getClass.getClassLoader).foreach(println)
java :
import java.net.URL;
import java.net.URLClassLoader;
public static void urlsInClasspath () {
ClassLoader cl = ClassLoader.getSystemClassLoader();
URL[] urls = ((URLClassLoader)cl).getURLs();
for(URL url: urls){
System.out.println(url.getFile());
}
}
I have been given the following output when including an FXML file with 3 icons of type MaterialDesignIconView

I cannot pin point why I am getting this problem. I have downloaded the library the usual way using Intellij as well.
The solution to your problem should be to use FontAwesome 8.4-SNAPSHOT.
As described in the following link https://bitbucket.org/Jerady/fontawesomefx/issues/13/illegalaccesserror-on-fontawesomeicon version 8.9 has this bug.
This is the correct dependency:
<dependency>
<groupId>de.jensd</groupId>
<artifactId>fontawesomefx</artifactId>
<version>8.4-snapshot</version>
</dependency>
Hope this helps!

The problem is that the class com.sun.javafx.Utils was moved to com.sun.javafx.util.Utils package in update 60 of Java 8.
I see that you use ControlsFX in your code. Then, take a new version of ControlsFX solve this problem.
More info:
https://bitbucket.org/controlsfx/controlsfx/issues/526/comsunjavafxutils-changes-to
After spending roughly 8 hours on this, using three different operating systems (Ubuntu 32, 64 and Windows 8.1), the issue was with Java. Apparently, any version after 8u40 will not work with this.
I am getting the following error:

Exception running application StartUp
However i am not even using the Hibernate library, i am using JPA, i tried searching for "Session", "hibernate" and other strings but i can't find any of those and yet it is throwing this error.
These are the libraries i am currently using:
I was using hibernate before but i had to use JPA, so i removed everything that had to do with Hibernate.
The stacktrace is referencing to some of my files but nothing on those lines has anything to do with database management.
Have you added Hibernate JAR's to the lib directory of your server by any chance?
Well the stack trace says clear enough that "gui.GraphicApplication.(GraphicApplication.java:28)" is referencing it, so look at that and fix it?
