I am using couchbase lite for java (couchbase-lite-java-1.3.1) for my JavaFX application.
My code is working well on Mac OS X, Windows 7/10.
Now I am trying to make it work on Windows XP but I am getting the following error:

Settings\Administrator\Desktop\Testy\Testy\dist\run618830020\Testy.jar

I use the same Netbeans project for Mac OS X, Windows 7 and for Windows XP.
Do you have some info about this problem? It is trying to use a procedure in CouchbaseLiteJavaForestDB.dll...
Thank you.
I reached out Couchbase Lite dev team and they advised me to remove ForestDB jar lib and to use SQLite as storage engine. Now it's working well on Windows XP.

I am not so good in java too.
Don't run the platform independent binary in production!
If you still need to add HTTPS support then you need to follow the Eclipse instructions to add HTTPS to Jetty.
Without knowing how far you got along that path it's impossible to give any further advice.

I cannot pin point why I am getting this problem. I have downloaded the library the usual way using Intellij as well.
The solution to your problem should be to use FontAwesome 8.4-SNAPSHOT.
As described in the following link https://bitbucket.org/Jerady/fontawesomefx/issues/13/illegalaccesserror-on-fontawesomeicon version 8.9 has this bug.
This is the correct dependency:
<dependency>
<groupId>de.jensd</groupId>
<artifactId>fontawesomefx</artifactId>
<version>8.4-snapshot</version>
</dependency>
Hope this helps!

The problem is that the class com.sun.javafx.Utils was moved to com.sun.javafx.util.Utils package in update 60 of Java 8.
I see that you use ControlsFX in your code. Then, take a new version of ControlsFX solve this problem.
More info:
https://bitbucket.org/controlsfx/controlsfx/issues/526/comsunjavafxutils-changes-to
After spending roughly 8 hours on this, using three different operating systems (Ubuntu 32, 64 and Windows 8.1), the issue was with Java. Apparently, any version after 8u40 will not work with this.
I have the guestbook appengine application working in the command line. For faster development I need to work in the IntelliJ IDEA IDE. But, I can't run the application. I guess the problem is configuration. How should I configure the IDE?
When I open the pom project and try to run it, IntelliJ shows Warning: App Engine facet not found in 'guestbook-war:war exploded' artifact. After I configure all the other options I can run the application. But, IDEA then shows:

IDEA tries to run the application from the classes directory, not from the target directory. Where can I configure this? I saw the classes directory and there isn't anything important in it. It only has folders and jars referred to by appengine, but nothing about the project.
How can I configure this?
I am getting the following error:

Exception running application StartUp
However i am not even using the Hibernate library, i am using JPA, i tried searching for "Session", "hibernate" and other strings but i can't find any of those and yet it is throwing this error.
These are the libraries i am currently using:
I was using hibernate before but i had to use JPA, so i removed everything that had to do with Hibernate.
The stacktrace is referencing to some of my files but nothing on those lines has anything to do with database management.
Have you added Hibernate JAR's to the lib directory of your server by any chance?
Well the stack trace says clear enough that "gui.GraphicApplication.(GraphicApplication.java:28)" is referencing it, so look at that and fix it?
